Does Ode destroy this guy?

Predictions: 10 of 14 Winners, 0 Perfect, 500 Points   |   Tied for 2852nd

Ode Osbourne is one of my big bets for this weekends card. But after talking to my brother , he told me he likes Zarrukh Adashev a lot. Which throws a monkey wrench in my thinking because I value his opinion. So now I’m kinda second guessing myself. What do you guys think about this match ???

I dont wanna respond because tartara is gonna think im a know-it-all (im just offering my two cents you dumbass @tartara, its a discussion board) but I think zarrukh has a good chance of winning. if you think about it, he is the better striker (16-3 glory kickboxer vs no striking credentials) and ode showed that he gets really tired past the first round. ode shouldn't be at 125 but fights there because he weighs too little to be at 135/145, so, the weight cut is taxing on his gas tank. He does have a huge size and reach advantage but if you look at the stats, he gets hit a ton which is crazy considering the size advantage he has over everybody in the division. His biggest path to victory is wrestling but you cant really rely on it because the only time he has ever used it is when he catches kicks of his opponents. Zarrukh did show decent scrambles for as long as he was on the ground in his last fight. Also, I know Benoit is terrible but zarrukh looked great in his last fight. Ode is rightfully the favorite but I think adashev is a lot better than people give him credit for

Trizano vs. Almeida
Lucas Almeida, SUB, R1
At first I was like oh cool trizano as a parlay piece, this guy lost on dwcs. Then I watched tape and I think trizano could be in trouble. This dude hits hard, has good volume, carries power late, has a decent bjj game. His major problem is getting stuck on his back, and that's how trizano wins, but if it's at distance enough, trizano is pretty low output, I think he can lose rounds, back to the Holm thing if he gets beat at distance for 3 minutes and then trizano gets a takedown and just grinds it out just doing enough to not get stood up, they'll give that round to almeida. Going with almeida as a decent sized dog. And I think it's very possible he cracks trianon good, trizano pretty tough to survive, but let's Almeda grab his neck for a club and sub. Now that I think about it I'm pretty sure I'm picking all the debuts which is scary as that's something I usually fade.

Botelho vs. Silva
Karine Silva, DEC
Think it should be a good fight. Very much agree with betting line. Going to go with Silva on the same basis of holm losing last card, she will probably be outvolumed or pressed against the cage a lot but land the bigger shots and get the round from that.. Split decision probably. I really don't know.

Alright boys, I made a final get rich parlay for the next 30 days.

Erin Blanchfield by TKO or SUB +280
Jasmine Jasudavicius -240
Calvin Kattar -210
Meisha Tate -170
Uriah Hall +200
Israel Adesanya -350

Either we get rich or we die trying :)

Riskiest picks obviously are Blanchfield to get a finish and Uriah Hall.  I think Blanchfield will dominate Aldrich with her grappling and probably get a SUB or ground & pound win.  Uriah Hall has never been subbed in his entire career despite fighting some top level guys.  Hall still has power in his striking, his losses are against people who outboxed him.  It's doubtful that Muniz will outbox Hall and if he can't get him to the ground, he might get knocked out as all of Muniz's losses in his career have been by TKO.  I think the UFC is setting up Meisha vs Valentina next so I think this is a winnable fight for her against Lauren Murphy.  Adesanya is going to continue to be Adesanya until Chimaev comes around to dethrone him in 2023/2024.

Aside from Movsar v Ige, Munoz v Gravely is highest-level fight on this card

Predictions: 9 of 14 Winners, 1 Perfect, 505 Points   |   Tied for 2829th

This card has at least 4 future ufc champs or future title contenders, Johnny Munoz one of them. Johnny is so good and wellrounded: He has stellar ground skills, overwhelming high-level wrestling skills, fluid kicks, great footwork, very good boxing too,...

But he's fighting the single worst matchup for him in the whole roster, a guy in Tony Gravely who has elite wrestling, very devastating hands, and arguably the wrestler with the best submission defense in the whole ufc, considering who he's fought and beaten, and taking into account that he trains with monstrous submission artist and elite fighters like Adriano Moraes, Alexandre Pantoja, Pedro Munhoz, Victor Dias, Jussier Formiga, Marlon Moraes (the guy has amazing tdd and also a super dangerous guillotine, even if he doesn't submit opponents very often like the rest of guys I mentioned),...

So with that said, this is a 50-50 fight that it most likely goes to decision, and there is no way in the world that even an elite and skilled jiu jitsu guy like Johnny Munoz, submits Tony Gravely, considering who Tony grains with and the type submission artists he's proven himself against in the past inside the cage. This fight will be very tricky and the smarter fighter will win the decision

Why you bet on Miesha Tate at -170, I don't like it, Miesha Tate only win in like 8 years is a 43 year old school teacher in her retierment fight, Also is going down a division at a pretty old age, I'm not saying she can't win or picking Tate is bad, I just don't like -170 on a volitile fight

I think Tate vs Murphy is a fight like alot of women MMA, Just Dog or Pass, Way to volitile
