the Best body language indicators were
Liddell vs Rampage. Remember seeing Liddell look fat and just like he smoked a crack rock. Looked all kinds of sick and unsual. Bets went to Rampage.
Rousey vs Holm. This is the most obvious one. Rousey having a mental breakdown during weigh ins, crying and screaming and throwing a hissy fit. Right after that a astronomical amount of bets got placed on Holm with her being a massive underdog. The Bellagio ran out of money to pay off the gamblers for the first time in History and had to wait for table games to collect cash to pay the winners. Everyone saw Rouseys body language and said "Nope" collectively

Giga Chikadze, TKO, R3
hoping to be wrong, but i think calvin will oblige giga in a standup fight and test his toughness. his chin is great, but body kicks might take his will out of the equation.
Sherman vs. Collier
Chase Sherman, DEC
i mean, who even cares? gonna take sherman because he's slightly less of a fodder fighter and should look more comfortable standing.
Royval vs. Bontorin
Brandon Royval, SUB, R1
still high on royval despite the losses and he has a decent size advantage here. just needs to avoid spending too much time on his back if he's not in guard.
Chookagian vs. Maia II
Katlyn Chookagian, DEC
maybe maia can score td's and ride out time on top, it's not like chookagian is a wizard at deterring or getting back up, but more likely i think a 3 round fight benefits her more while maia is built to escalate as the fight goes deeper.
Bush vs. Borshchev
Viacheslav Borshchev, TKO, R2
general rule of thumb is pick random russians/eastern europeans if it seems close at all.
Brito vs. Algeo
Joanderson Brito, DEC
seems like brito has well rounded enough skills to not get stuck playing range with algeo?
Pickett vs. Holmes
Jamie Pickett, TKO, R2
screw it, i'll take the more experienced fighter here since holmes has been fighting greener guys.
Brahimaj vs. McGee
Court McGee, DEC
court showed he can still grind it out with big guys, not sure ramiz will be able to sub him.
Kelleher vs. Croom
Brian Kelleher, TKO, R2
feeling like the weight shift could be a factor here, but i don't think kelleher will be affected too much going up against someone bigger than him.
Brown vs. Rosa
Charles Rosa, DEC
feel like rosa's pressure should be enough even on short notice, he always tries hard.

Basically any + number in American odds is what you would get per $100 bet. So a $10 bet would return $69.90

Calvin Kattar vs. Giga Chikadze
Giga by KO in round 4-5. I can't bet against a guy that I just watched dispose of Edson Barbosa like that and my analysis truly doesn't go any deeper than that. Kattar isn't well rounded enough to neutralize what he's going to be dealing with. Kattar has a narrow path to victory by either decision or sub if he can tire Giga out early. I think the odds on this fight are pretty much spot on.
Chase Sherman vs. Jake Collier
Sherman is awful. Like, really awful. Collier has actually looked decent his last two fights and might have gotten robbed against Felipe. Neither guy has a single impressive win on their entire record, so I have to take the guy that's at least coming in with some momentum. I agree with the odds on this one and Collier by finish might even be worth a look. I think that Felipe split left a really bad taste in his mouth and he's going to go out on his sword. I can't even consider Sherman winning in any fashion after how hes looked in his last 2 fights.
Brandon Royval vs. Rogério Bontorin
I'm kind of torn on this fight. Bontorin is a solid fighter but Royval is just so dangerous because of his size in this division. His arms always seem like theyre twice as long as his opponents and I think he will eventually just smother Bontorin and sub him. If we look at their recent losses, Royval getting subbed by Pantoja, to me, is understandable. Bontorin should not have gotten KO'd by KKF.
Katlyn Chookagian vs. Jennifer Maia
Boring fight that I've seen already.
Dakota Bush vs. Viacheslav Borshchev
Trying not to overthink this one. Bush is the better grappler but Borshchev has decent TDD. From what I've seen, he's never on the ground long if he does get taken down. The striking difference, however, is massive IMO. I think Bush will look sollid for maybe the first round but Borsehchev eventually overwhelms him and gets a late 2nd or early 3rd KO. Bush will need to empty his gas tank and completely smother Borshchev for 15 to get a win here and I just don't see it.
Joanderson Brito vs. Bill Algeo
I like Algeo but admit he's very average. While his TDD is putrid, he has a great gas tank and is pretty good at getting back to his feet. Brito likely dominates round 1, Algeo round 3 if it goes that far. Round 2 is probably the key to this fight. If Algeo can avoid losing 10-8 in the first or even steal the first round, he has a very good chance of winning this fight. Brito has way more power, is very aggressive and will definitely get multiple take downs in this fight. I think this will be a battle of gas tanks, in which case I have to go with Algeo. I think Brito needs an early-ish finish here and Algeo, despite not being crazy skilled, is pretty tough.
Jamie Pickett vs. Joseph Holmes
Pickett is not good. If Holmes can't get a sub here then the UFC made a mistake bringing him in this soon. I think he gets the sub either later first or early 2nd round after surviving an initial onslaught from Pickett, who is barely UFC calibur. If James Krause says you're ready for the UFC that's a nice endorsement. Ugly man by sub.
Ramiz Brahimaj vs. Court McGee
Maybe the toughest fight to pick on the card. Brahimaj is really, really good but this is a rough night at the office even for someone as skilled as him. McGee has been finished only once before and has a win over Robert Whittaker. Brahimaj likely needs a finish here to get a win, which while not impossible will not be easy. If this goes to a decision I think there's a solid chance it's a split. I will say I think Brahimaj has great tools to potentially be a ranked guy and finishing a solid vet like McGee here will catapult him up into the rankings. I personally have to take the vet here though; he looked great in his last fight.
Brian Kelleher vs. Kevin Croom
Kelleher has faced better competition but I definitely don't agree with him being the biggest favorite on the card. Yes, he's got a very good chance to win this fight. However, if you're betting on this fight like I am, it's really hard not to take a look at Croom by finish/sub. He has 5in in height and almost 10in in reach here. If we recall the fact that Roosevelt Roberts gave Ignacio Bahomendes (an exciting young fighter many are very high on) a decent fight until the 3rd round, suddenly Croom submitting Roberts (who I understand is no world beater) in the 1st stands out a little more. Going dog here but will readily admit its a bit of a dart throw with Croom coming in on short notice.
TJ Brown vs. Charles Rosa
Either Brown by decision or Rosa by sub. I think Rosa sub might deserve a sprinkle just because he's such a dog (Brown shouldn't be-200). Brown is an ok fighter but he barely (and argueably didn't) beat Kamaka. Brown likely dominates a lot of the fight with his wrestling but Rosa has good jiu jitsu. I loved the late round, un-orthodox elbow he threw in his last fight that busted Jackson wide open. Should be entertaining and while I want to lean dog here, I think Brown takes this with Rosa coming in on short notice. With full camps I probably feel different about this fight.
