Predictions: 12 of 14 Winners, 3 Perfect, 705 Points   |   Tied for 1051st

Błachowicz vs. Teixeira
Jan Błachowicz, TKO, R4
Can't help feeling that Jan Błachowicz will be too powerful for Glover Teixeira. Teixeira should be able to handle the early storm but I think he'll eventually get worn down and finished late.

Yan vs. Sandhagen
Petr Yan, DEC
In a fair and just universe, we'd just be going straight to the Petr Yan VS Aljamain Sterling rematch but this is still a great fight all things considered.

Makhachev vs. Hooker
Islam Makhachev, SUB, R3
This will give us a better idea about how realistic Islam Makhachev's title aspirations are. I've no doubt he wins this, it's his performance in this fight that I'm interested in. Bonus points for him if he finishes Dan Hooker but overall I'd be looking to see him really take control of the fight and bring the fight to Hooker. This isn't just an oppertunity for him to get another decent name on his record, it's an opportunity for him to prove the hype about him potentially being a future champion is real and that he should be mentioned with the other title contenders in the division.

Li is ******

Predictions: 1 of 3 Winners, 1 Perfect, 100 Points   |   Tied for 3960th

I tried. I seriously, honest to god tried to rationalize in my head how Li could win this, but I can’t. The most Li could hope for out of this matchup is a quick knockout, or that Covid legitimately ****** up Chimaev to where he is half the man he was a year ago…*maybe* Li’s head movement could give Chimaev a hard time. MAYBE.

It’s funny to me how so many people were calling Khamzat a can crusher, then “MearlySharts” got a massive underdog win and now everyone thinks he’s some underrated vet of the sport. I think Derek Brunson said it best: “MMA Fans are bipolar.”

Hell, Meerschart ain’t even the most impressive win on his resume. He has a first round knockout win over Ikram Aliskerov, whom is a Sambo gold medalist currently fighting in Brave and with a record of 11 - 1, his only loss being…you guessed it, this ******* psychopath.

Khamzat’s just special man. I dunno what else to say.

Khamzat via R1 SUB

I agree with @Sabbath, and I would like to add that Khamzat vs Li should go a lot like Khamzat's fight with John Phillips.  Khamzat respected Philips knockout power and just took him down when he could. He is a smart enough fighter not to stand and trade with Li (which is Li's only way to beat Khamzat) because he ain't outgrappling him to a decision so I think Khamzat wins by Sub.  Btw, Khamzat by sub is +300... I'm going hard on that.

Of course, anything can happen in MMA and we've all been wrong before but damn those odds are juicy as hell.

I'm trying to visualize how Jan Blachowicz will win this fight. I did pick him to win, but I have no idea now how he will do that.

He could knock Glover out, win a decision, or even submit him potentially.
But you never know with Glover.

If MMA were about statistics, Jan would always win this matchup.
But Glover has that instinct. Every time he gets knocked down, he just switches that instinct on.
Santos, Smith, Cutelaba... the list goes on.
I will be worried for Glover if he doesn't get sat down in the first round.

Petrovski vs. Hu

Predictions: 11 of 14 Winners, 5 Perfect, 675 Points   |   Tied for 1457th

Please do not parlay Petrovski, he is not a lock. He will win if he can wrestle but that's not a guarantee. Remember when he was everybody's lock against Gillmore? I like Petrovski but he is not UFC level yet. His gas tank and striking are not very good.

I think Andre will win, and I am picking him but I expect this to be a close fight.

Tukhugov vs. Ramos
Zubaira Tukhugov, DEC
This one is pretty close on the feet, however I prefer Zubaira's defence to Ramos, he slides out the way of shots nicely whereas Ramos leaves his hands quite low. The takedowns won't be there for Ramos in this fight either, instead I think Zubaira could go for some to score some points, can see this one taking place on the feet for the most part with Zubaira being to dart in and out and landing his hands. Good fight this is

I could only feel comfortable picking Chimaev inside the distance, not KO or sub. He's very opportunistic and has such killer instinct it's just a matter of what his opponent gives up first.
