In Waterworld, the alternate lingua franca that seafarers speak besides English is called "PortuGreek". That seems like a bizarre attempt by the writers to mesh 2 skilled seafaring cultures from antiquity together. For anyone unfamiliar with the plot of this movie, it's technically set in a hypothetical future where the polar ice caps have already melted.
In Flash Gordon, the antagonist is named "Emperor Ming", which seems like a pretty obvious reference to Chinese culture. However, the sigil of Emperor Ming in the film is strangely similar to the symbol of the Jesuits. Additionally, Mings henchmen in the film use a symbol that looks nearly identical to the compass used in freemasonry.
And for anyone that's curious, Waterworld is as terrible as everyone has always claimed it to be. For me, it's one of those movies that's so bad it's good, if that makes sense. Flash Gordon I had actually never seen but is without question the most 80s movie ever made.

Crazy how well cast these stinkers are and fun to see how little science or reasoning is involved.

but if a film is boring and you also don't care for the visuals, score, etc. then yeah no real reason to stick with it

Currently have a modem/router combo.
I have to run a cat5 cable outdoors and connect a different router to another part of the building. Roughly less than 100feet.
This is the cable I plan on buying.

Also the router/modem is almost 10 years old and I have connectivity issues every now and then. So I want to buy another modem/router combo and a router that will be connected from the cat5 cable.
Does anyone have any recommendations on those equipment. I am not concerned too much about price. Really want something nice. Also, any concerns about that cat5 cable?
