You can never doubt Joe Lauzon. He's made people pay for that before. Might have to change this to some kind of finish, or even in Pettis' favor. Not totally sure who I'm picking here, love watching both of these guys fight.

A very interesting and tough fight to call. I'm real big fan of both fighters, and appreciate their fighting styles. This one could really go either way, but I hope to see Pettis win this fight.

Pettis will be able to pull a gassed Lauzon into the second round and then seal the deal with a referee stoppage TKO.

I agree with Lauzon being underrated, but I believe Pettis will be way too much for lauzon. I wouldnt be suprised if Pettis actually taped out lauzon.

If this fight does go to a decision I think Pettis will take it, but judging by Lauzon's history, a decision is an unlikely outcome. Either he's going to come out like a bat out of hell and demolish Pettis, or he's going to come out like a bat out of hell, demolish Pettis in the early going, then get finished in the second or third.

I'm only picking Pettis 'cause he's awesome, but I think Lauzon could win.

And isn't that insane? Lauzon's only been to a decision once in his career? Wow.

Lauzon he's not going to be able to take the fight to the ground, as much as he wants, and he will face the much better striking of Pettis.

Pettis has never been finished and he is going to stay just like that, the ground game of Lauzon is better, but he won't tap Showtime out.

In this fight, I mostly see a striking battle and of course Pettis takes the win, maybe by decision or by tko in the later rounds...

I honestly think this fight is 50-50 when looking at these fighter's most recent fights.  I think Pettis' two UFC performances were less than what people expected while Joe Lauzon is by far surpassing people's expectations.  I think Joe's more dangerous at the start of the fight, but Pettis could wear him down.

Picking Pettis because Lauzon's my favourite lightweight.  Might as well make it a win-win, somewhat.

I'm thinking Pettis will prove he is superior striking-wise, but I'm really pulling for another Lauzon upset.
