If it's boxing Floyd will beat that ass. MMA Conor will beat that ass.  It's all about money with both of these guys. There is nothing else for them to gain from this fight except $$$

What @cheese said.  The Sun is the same newspaper that makes ridiculous football transfer rumors, so I take any info from them with a grain of salt.

Dana White officially offered 25 million dollars to each fighter in a boxing pov deal. http://www.mmafighting.com/2017/1/13/14268000/dana-white-offers-floyd-mayweather-jr-conor-mcgregor-25-million-each-for-boxing-match

A deal probably won't be made tomorrow but the fact that negotiations are starting... I mean there's so much money to be made.

**** on the idea if you want, but you secretly want to see this. I want to see it. Everyone wants to see it. Even Meryl Streep will be front row.

Oh please God make this happen.

25 mil is literally a joke to Mayweather. He made 32 Mil guaranteed for a fight 10 years ago, when he was 10% the star he is now. He made around 200 Mil after PPV from his last fight.

This is just a low-ball from Dana. But an extremely insulting, unrealistic low-ball.

This fight isn't happening, but, I just want an MMA fighter to invade their soil and KO the P4P King so the old timers and holdovers finally understand, Boxing is checkers and MMA is chess.

If the guarantee was a combined $50 million, what's that tell you about how bad the split between the owners and the fighters is? Guaranteed biggest fight Dana ever does (guaranteed $150 million PPV) and he wants the top billing to take less than a third of the total revenue. Mayweather-Pacquiao grossed approx. $550 million. Mayweather and Pacquiao took home approx. $350 million combined, which is 63% or so. So let's say Mayweather is used to taking 35%, why would he even entertain the idea of splitting 1/3 of PPV revenues (not gross revenues, just the PPV revenue). That doesn't even touch the other fighters on the card (though, they probably combined to take home just a percent or two based on the most recent earnings for the bigger names on the undercard).

Still not really interested in people blathering on about this. Nobody wants to see the Chicago Cubs play the Cleveland Cavs in a basketball match, why do people go on about an MMA fighter boxing a boxer or vice versa? If they're gonna fight, it should be under some sort of special rules, like YAMMA Pit Fighting or X-Arm.

@Yoss That's chump change. She'd never accept that. Dana would need to offer at least $20K.

**** this fight.  Just **** this.  If Mayweather should fight in boxing again, it should be against Golovkin. Not against a guy who hasn't boxed since his amateur days.
