Mayweather vs. GGG can happen later for the interim belt for a chance to fight McGregor in 2018.

In fairness,  25m is a very low offer for this fight.  Literally the entire world would be ordering this fight. My ******* grandmother would order this fight and stay up til 6am to watch it.  Throw a penny catch a pound.  If Dana splashes out on this,  it could easily become the most ordered PPV of all time..

I don't trust ESPN and I don't care about this anymore.

I don't care either and it just brings the UFC and boxing to a lower level.

The endless hype and every other person on social media suddenly becoming an expert on boxing or MMA or both is going to be unbearable if this actually happens.

Why would any big fan really be excited about this?I know it's a matter of opinion but I just don't get it.The way I see it is Connor knew he was taking a big'ish break from mma and wants a ton of publicity to keep people talking about him while he's gone (and i'm sure the ufc doesn't mind).

With that there's also a slight chance it actually happens because there's a lot of money involved and the casuals will eat it up but for the most part imo it's just one huge publicity stunt and wth right?It's a win win everyone gets publicity and if it actually happened then there's big money there.

The bottom line for me though is if the fight actually happens it's the dumbest big boxing matches ever proposed.Floyd beats Connor 100/100 minus injury stoppage.Floyd would beat Connor with just his left hand (right being able to block clinch etc) EASILY!This isn't mma,huge upsets rarely happen in boxing that's why there are -5,000+ type odds in boxing.I'd watch the fight but really wouldn't care and meanwhile Connor is ******* up another division by not defending and then you know Floyd can draw out matches for ever like the the Pacquiao fight where he let it build up for over 5 years while Manny slowly went back to his left arm only style and then put it together.

This is all just so stupid.The only big fans imo that would be super psyched for this are the fans that want to watch Connor the amatuer get absolutely dominated by arguably the greatest boxer of all time (he'd never pass SRR imo).

Someone tell me about the Sonnen-Wanderlei fight in a main event **** "This is not for the hardcore fan, its for the casual fans" I think Mayweather-McGregor is the same thing!
