womens flyweight has a lot of hype behind it right now
They've been talking about it for a while. I hope they dont. Bellator already has one. Invictas is very vibrant right now and ufc has too many divisions as is.
Odd they're all about this but are so against doing one offs with cyborg at 145

I'm glad they are doing this fight, at this weight as well. Fighters like Leslie Smith have a better shot at success in a division like FlyW over fighting above 135lbs.

So this fight is being promoted by UFC as a catchweight at 125 as they don't have a flyweight division. So after UFC Ottawa where should Calderwood and Létourneau be available to be ranked: Strawweight or Flyweight?

From a business standpoint, the UFC having a 125lbs division will water down the already cleaned out 135lbs division (but what do they care, it was never about the division for them, it was about creating a playing ground for Ronda anyway).
Sucks for INVICTA, but hey, the minute the UFC got into WMMA we all knew their days were numbered. A 125lbs division will most likely mark the beginning of the end of INVICTA.
