I actually had this whole hearing on Fight Pass while I worked in the FightCenter today. Diaz's legal team brought the heat and NAC responded with pitifully bruised egos.
This one's certainly going to court, and we'll see what happens; hopefully we get a repeat of Brady v. NFL.

The fact that weed is still on the banned substances list is totally stupid, I agree with that 100% and if people are going on any crusades it should be against that not against Nick's punishment.
As long as weed is still banned in the sport, no matter how ******* stupid that is, you need to punished if you break the rules and your punishment increases every time you do so. It's not rocket science. Diaz is a smart dude and knows this and, as I said, doesn't give two ****s. As far as he's concerned, 5 yeas, 15 years, ban his future children for all he cares. So if he doesn't give any ****s, how come the whole MMA world is "fighting his fight".
The MMA media and fighters should stop kissing Nick Diaz' ass and fight the real fight. Remove weed from banned substances list. I don't think there will be a problem proving it's not a PED. They could have anyone on the voting committee who's planning to vote against, get stoned and try and fight someone's grandma. He'd quickly see for himself when he's in a granny-choke just how performance enhancing it is.

Regardless of Diaz disregarding the rules, what matters most are the rules he broke and whether the basis of those rules are legitimate. Generally speaking, people seem to be at massive odds against prohibiting the use of marijuana.
