Melendez is terrible at scoring fights or one of the most deluded corner men out there, his fighter clearly loses but he always seems to think they won.

Yeah, Melendez is terrible at telling who is winning fights. Also have to point out that he said Markos was in a "neutral position" when she was on top of Torres and mounted her at the end of the third but thought Kagan could somehow have won a round because she was on top even though she was stuck in a reverse triangle and couldn't do anything.
