Just starting to watch now.  Got delayed by proofreading a college paper for a friend, but luckily I set up the DVR to record all episodes.

20-18 JoJo in my book. Kagan didn't do much.

Okay. If it's not going to a 3rd, JoJo should have this. Kagan did not win both of those rounds.

Hopefully she got her nervous performance out of the way early. Didn't look great.

Speaking from experience, it's tough to get up for a fight where you dominated the original match-up. I had to fight the same dude four times on the kickboxing circuit.

Penne/Ellis was Ellis' only fight @ 105lbs.

I imagine that will be a factor, rematching @115.

@Mike, probably because Gil keeps telling his fighters that they've won rounds they didn't (second week in a row).

Gil is an awesome cornerman during the fight (way better than Pettis) but he's got to start giving them reality checks. These are two rounders, if there's a doubt about round 1, ******* put a fire under her ass and at least tell her it could go either way and she NEEDS the second one to be clear cut. Don't tell her she won a round she either lost or was pretty ******* close.

Jo Jo looked uncharacteristically hesitant (more so in the first, she opened up a bit more in the second until they got caught in that weird situation). I imagine her 2nd place seeding and it being the first fight "under the UFC banner" playing into that a bit. She usually fights to devastate - in this one she fought not to lose.

Also, WAY too much Felice airtime. Editors cheapening up this monumental season with Felice flirting with the coaches, camera, other girls, herself in the mirror and ants in the back yard. Them closeups on her man-face are killing me.

Other than that ... Jo Jo won. That's all I care about. I Can breathe.

Now Penne and Rosie need to win and I'm totally cool with how the first round goes :)

Sucks balls that if Rose wins her and Jo Jo meet in the next round ... I'd have liked the to at least meet in the semis ...

I just don't see how a judge could score that 2nd round for either of them, that was one of the stupidest positions I've seen in a fight. JoJo just held her there, there was really nothing to base that round off of. Definitely could have went to the 3rd round. Kegan was landing that straight left and a few nasty elbows, I thought she took the first but I'll have to rewatch.

looking at the bracket, I think its safe to assume that Esparza makes it to the final. All of the other favorites seem to be on the other side.

Just saw the episode. I guess I was just expecting a little more from JoJo. Oh well, at least she got the win.
