Weidman is better on the feet, in the clinch, and especially on the ground. I doubt Lyoto doesn't get finished and no way he leaves with the belt.

I'm not sure Weidmann is better on the feet. I'm not sure he's not either. I'm excited to see how the stand up goes.

Kyoto is better on the feet I would say. Weidmann is much better on the ground. If for some reason Weidmann out strikes Kyoto,then I doubt anyone at 185 can out strike him.

I think Machida is just plain better at martial arts than Weidman, but I'm afraid that might not be enough to win. I think a finish heavily favors Weidman. Machida doesn't have the best chin, and Weidman has nuts power and subs. 

Still, gotta back my fellow karateka on this one.

Jotun I would be very surprised. I would be surprised if Weidman finishes Machida on the ground and I would be surprised if he can take Machida down to any great degree.

Prediction: wrong Machida   wrong KO/TKO   wrong Round 3  

I could give a big breakdown, but the bottom line for this fight is this, takedown defense, technique and quickness, those are the 3 things Lyoto will use to beat The Chris. While I respect the **** out of Weidman for knocking out one of the most exciting and fan favorite of mine, I don't think he has the style to beat Machida. We all know Machida owned Davis, and that was a high level collegiate wrestler at 205. If Weidman beats Machida however, there is no way I will pick against Weidman for a long time.

I see Lyoto finishing Weidman in the later rounds or dominating a decision.
