Lombard is overrated and fighting in bellator.. Souza I need to put in..

Biggest issue I have is with Lombard at #2. He's a good fighter but he struggled against both Shlemenko and Vitale looking unimpressive in both. If he found those fights difficult, he'd be in trouble against most fighters in the top 10. He's also too small, will have a big height and reach disadvantage against most people in his weight class, and honestly should be at welterweight.

I agree with @T0rch.. the Cung Le ranking is a little off imo. I do not have Hector ranked based on body of work.

lombard has the power and judo to make up for his size if he gets inside with any1 and connects its over hes 29-2 on a huge winstreak i dont see why the ufc or at the very least strikeforce hasnt signed him he called out nate marquardt but i beleive marquardt is going to strikeforce

Having Leben in your top 10 without Lombard being ahead of him is ridiculous. Leben has lost to fighters Lombard has finished in 1 round. I'm not going to take anything away from him because Vitale was completely terrified to engage and basically just played defense the whole fight.

I really would love to see him in the UFC proving all the haters wrong, but Bellator has ridiculous contracts that make it so he basically has to throw a title fight to have a way out.

agreed except i was not aware of the bellator contracts can u explain it a little better as to why lombard cant leave?

Once Rousimar Palhares beats Dan Miller, I'll put him in my top 10. I've been waiting for the UFC to give him a decent opponent so that he can prove he belongs there.

@ladylover - The champion's clause basically has him on lockdown. Every time he wins his contract is extended by 3 fights or 18 months. So either he loses a bunch or waits an ungodly amount of time til his contract runs out.

Lombard shouldn't be that high, Sonnen should be higher than Okami and how is Cung Le in the top 10.

Why the hell is Bisping in peoples top 10? Wow he has 3 straight wins over Dan Miller(bottom of the top 20), Jorge Rivera(Probably around 20-25), and Akiyama(Bottom of the top 20), not to mention a loss to Wand who as much as I hate to say it, isn't relevant anymore.

Does vitor ******* count? I have him ranked due to the sheer lack of depth in the division but the only thing Vitor's done @ MW is ko lindland and ktfo'd by Silva.

bisping is a good fighter but not top 10 he is better than palhares i will give u that but lombard wuld kill bisping

also belfort isnt rlly top 10 material right now but u cnt count him out. well see if he still has it when he fights akiyama
