I just don't agree with Bisping and think Leben is a bit high. At least you give Lombard his credit. But why oh why is Sonnen not on your list? Just out of extreme dislike lol?

Sonnen not on due to his suspension and lack of activity (though admittedly the latter factor is a bit minor). Sonnen wins against Stann and he's pretty much #6 if not #5.

Leben is #9 because before his (brutal) win he lost (in brutal fashion) and though he got a knock out against a very established oppenent, I also see Wanderlei as on the slide (even before his encounter with Leben). Bisping - hate him or not - has been on a nice little roll and so has Miller. Miller and Bisping were higher in the list but Munoz and Stann deserved to be ahead of them.

Well I'm leaving him out as he lost to Silva, Okami is the next #1 contender and even without inactivity he got suspended and has only just come out of that. More power to those who keep Sonnen in the rankings but I just can't do it ^_^

Not too sure. Better check the Light Heavyweight rankings lol.

So what means that he dosen't qualify as #2. I've stated the main reason he's off completly is due to his suspension. If not for his suspension I'd put him at either #5 or #6.

Okami is the legit #1 contender. Not "oh he should be the next person to fight Silva" but IS the next person to fight Silva. So in my mind that makes him the second ranked guy. I mean God forbid* if Okami beats Anderson Silva, does that mean Sonnen leapfrogs to #1 because he beat Okami two years ago?

I'd have no idea where Okami would be if Sonnen was not suspended because Sonnen would be fighting and thus we'd have different matches and rankings in theory (butterfly effect and all that). But it is what it is.

lol these debates are fun. Why we need a chat room ^_^

*Seriously if Anderson Silva loses, it will be because I jinxed him by saying that sentence
