i have nothing to add to what you said sir.
@anik i think the problem with your comment is that youre basically saying that everyone that does not agree with you is not only wrong, but doesnt understand the game.

but i wouldnt even like to see a super-fight in the more heavy divisions, unless the smaller guy wins ^^

Ok, so my comment earlier wasn't worded very well. What I was trying to say was that decision wins should be given more credit than they are nowadays. I was just annoyed at how Lopati would rank GSP at number 7, a guy who usually wins more dominantly than any other fighter (yes there's no finish, but when GSP is on his game he picks up 10-8 rounds at will).
@C_Arnoud "i think the problem with your comment is that youre basically saying that everyone that does not agree with you is not only wrong, but doesnt understand the game."
I didn't mean it like that, if it came across like that I apologize. The point I was trying to make with my comment was that a finish isn't always better than a decision.
@Lopati The majority of the world would. If I knew the score cards of the decisions and they were all scored 30-.. for the winner, I'd pick the guy with 8 decisions. But if I didn't know the score cards, I'd pick the guy with the 8 finishes. And yes, decision scores are determined by scores from judges, but for every Cecil Peoples, there's a bunch of good judges.
@Gregory If all of "America" thumbs me down, so be it. I don't care. I still think a lot of North American "UFC fans" just watch to see people fight and bleed (i.e. "The Just Bleed Dude"). I appreciate technique in fights, and decision specialists like GSP and Dominick Cruz show more technical prowess than 95% of the fighters in the UFC.
Again, I apologize if my comment was in any way insulting to anyone, that's not what I intended it for.

It is just a difference of opinion, for me if your so dominant in a fight; why can't you finish???? Which is why I place finishers Higher than guys like GSP. GSP isn't aggressive enough to be a top P4P guy. He couldn't finish Koschek with a Broken Orbital bone and god knows what else.

I think GSP plays a "smarter" game because of his past experience with Matt Serra. I think he could've finished Koscheck but chose not to because he did not want to risk getting KOed. It's not an entertaining style, but it's one that should be appreciated.
Guys like Jon Fitch who don't finish but dominate should be praised along with guys who finish like Carlos Condit. That's my problem, that at least 75% of MMA fans don't appreciate a smart gameplan. I have no problem with your opinion of finishers being placed over dominant fighters, I just don't think you appreciate the gameplanning aspect of MMA, an aspect that guys like Jon Fitch, Dominick Cruz and GSP have mastered with ease.

you see thats what im saying if the guy finishes the other, he shows that he was not afraid of the guy. this shows dominance both offensively and defensively. of course wild brawls are an exception, but brawlers are not usually really successful so they wouldnt be in a discussion for best P4P...

@C_Arnoud That's not how I see it. If GSP rocks a guy in the first round (i.e. Koscheck) and chooses to pick his shots carefully for the next 4 rounds, I see that as a smart gameplan. Because GSP can always get KTFO, just ask Pat Barry after his fight with Cheick Kongo. Or Scott Smith after his fight with Cung Le. Or every Big Nog fight in Pride.
@Nik Lust So is Canada, what's your point?

Also moves up a spot to #3
Ben Henderson enters in at #5 (He's had one hell of a UFC run, hence his high position despite not having defended the belt yet).
Condit enters at #10.
