Everbody does know that if Weidman does in fact win, the belfort won't get his shot until 2014...We will instead see a silva_weidman trilogy.

Depends on how he wins. I wouldn't be surprised if Silva just retires immediately if he loses. I don't think Silva would continue to fight past his prime. One loss is better than a string of losses like Liddell and Ortiz.

I also think that Anderson will make a successful 12th title defense, but lets get real: Weidman has a chance. For an example, if he lands a takedown and ends up mounted on Anderson the fight is pretty much over. The only problem is that as I see it, Weidman needs Anderson to screw up badly at least once in order to win this match, and that doesn't happen very often.

EDIT: Also, contrary to popular belief, if this fight goes to a decision Anderson will definitely win. Weidman will either submit him or lose.

Anderson Silva knocked Stephan Bonnar out. Don't worry, he can do the same to Weidman regardless of chin.

Not to say that Weidman is as easy to hit as Stephan is, but if Anderson lands one of his trademark accurate yet strong blows Weidman is going down.

Anderson can knock anyone out regardless of their "chin", and the crazy thing is that it's not even that he uses power but he knows exactly where to hit. I guarantee if he fought Hendo again he could get the KO easily.
