Predictions: 6 of 12 Winners, 1 Perfect, 325 Points   |   Tied for 978th

These are mine (I took into consideration prior booked fighters, but may have left out medical suspensions and injuries because I didn't want to research to keep the picks more instinctive and not overthought):

Winners:
GSP - Hendricks: Yup, I don't really care for super fights.
Carmont - Philipou: Two good strikers, no way he gets away with what he did with Lawlor against Costa
Dos Anjos - Maynard: All the LWs I have ranked above him are booked, so why not? Lets see how good he's really got.
Garza - Hettes: Hettes needs something to get back with, Garza needs to prove his win shows his improvement and not just Hominick's decline without jumping too high.
Cote - Sakara: No brainer, this fight needs to happen, minus the blows to the back of the head.
Diabate - Kingsbu: Kingsbu needs to be given a break from being lion-fed, Diabate? Well, Griggs was easy, Kingsbu isn't (unless he's been mentally crushed by his last two fights). I know it's winner vs. loser, but the next winner-up in my rankings is Jimi Manuwa, and I see no reason for this fight to take place.
Makdessi - Volkman: No particular reason, more of a "why not" than anything else. None of these two interests me that much.
Carvalho - Peralta: Both on a role of late, will determine which one of them halts and which one heads up.
Riddle - Gunnar: Just the two completely opposite personalities would be great. Cool, seemingly emotionless Gunnar vs. well, you know Riddle :)
Menjivar - Faber: Menjivar keeps knocking on the door only to get it slammed in his face, Urijah needs to find his place now that he's in limbo between being the best BW without a chance for a title shot. Plus, if anyone cares, their last fight ended with a DQ, unfinished business? (joking, of course, it was 6 years ago)
Elkins - Do Bronx: Yup, loser against winner again, but for Elkins it's time to stop beating prospects and Do Bronx is a former almost contender who needs to get back up, which in my eyes puts them on the same step of the ladder and they need to knock the other one off.

Losers:
Condit - Diaz: Unfinished business. Now that the title shot isn't on the line I have a feeling Condit will fight differently.
Kampmann - BJ/Rory: I don't really care which one of them or if it's the loser or winner of the fight. If Rory wins, Kampmann is the step up he needs to get. Whether BJ wins or loses, he's a big enough name to fight post-loss Kampmann.
Lawler - Kong Watson: No way Lawlor's keeping him against the fence. This has wild brawl written all over it.
Bocek - Sassangle: Jitz-mania!!!
Hominick: Time off to re-evaluate stuff. Dude's totally out of focus and/or has lost confidence. Take a break, buddy.
Sakara - Cote: See Cote - Sakara ;)
Griggs: Anyone not in the UFC. Killer sideburns, not a UFC caliber fighter.
Stout - Danzig: I dunno ... seems like a good fight, no?
Rodrigo Damm: See Griggs (minus the killer burns) :)
Maguire - Paulo Thiago: Gypsy-Jitsu vs. BJJ. Thiago's not the contender we thought he was, Maguire's not the up-and-comer we thought he was ... Fight for your jobs, loser leaves town ...
Gashimov - Hougland: I was thinking that Kid Yamamoto or Vaughan Lee make sense, but Azamat got Menjivar for his UFC debut. Ouch. He deserves a break and Hougland needs to show whether he's got what it takes to be in the UFC or surrender his spot to another newcomer. This'll be the fight to do both.
Siler - Grispi: Both ex-streakers coming off a loss. wrestler-brawler vs. submission specialist. Who gets back on track?

What matchups would you guys want to see?

I'd rather see a Hendricks Vs Diaz before the title shot.
Diabate vs Thiago Silva would be pretty decent too, but that might be too big of a jump for Diabate, I'd settle for a scrap against Ryan Jimmo.

Great matchups Yoss!  I agree with you, GSP/Hendricks is the fight that SHOULD happen, lord knows Hendricks has done more than enough to prove his worth by now.  Sadly, I think money's gonna talk and Hendricks will be forced out of the #1 contendership once again....

Dos Anjos/Maynard is quite the jump up for Dos Anjos!  Like you said though, there aren't many other options for him at the moment, other than sitting out a long time or...... maybe if the UFC gets Eddie Alvarez, maybe that fight could happen.  What do you think of that one?

Its not a fact, and I, for one, highly doubt it will happen. And rightfully so. Weightclasses for a reason.

If they make Silva vs GSP I would want them to match Hendricks against Condit. Because i am very confident that Carlos Condit would beat hendricks clearly.  The only reason i would not want this fight would be because I want Condit to have couple fights and significant amount of time to improve before re-matching GSP.

They're not going to match up Hendricks and Condit, basically for the reason you mentioned. For Hendricks, beating a guy coming off a loss when he's established himself as the No. 1 contender does nothing for him, even if that loss came to the champ. For Condit, beating Hendricks and then having another training camp and getting a rematch with GSP within a year is going to result in a one-sided loss if he doesn't land another nasty head kick to make the fight competitive.

I agree. I just want to see Condit beat hendrick lol. I just have this nagging feeling then hendrick is going to start losing decisions to people. Think his standup technical wise is not very good. I think there are number of fighters who will take advantage of this and beat him by decisions. I just think it a matter of when. Think it will all start going down hill for him right after GSP dominates him.

Yeah GSP will most likely decision him but still that left hand is ridiculous. Basically sent Fitch and Kampmann airborne. If he hits anyone flush with it they're done.
