Non-stop, back-and-forth, technically very solid action. You have Emmett, one of the hardest punchers in the division throwing power combinations only and finding the mark pretty much at will, but Burgos displaying that ridiculous chin of his, constantly moving forward, using a very good jab and adding some excellent leg kicks that had Emmett wobble a few times. Emmett did land the biggest shots, knocking Burgos down twice, including one vicious left hook that had Burgos smile somehow... This ultimately secured the decision for Emmett but even in defeat, Shane Burgos' stock significantly went up. He was a pure savage here, getting hit big time multiple times but smiling and pushing the pace remarkably, showing incredible will and toughness.
