Carwin never took a beat down like this in his career. Dos Santos absolutely mauled and peppered him all three rounds with world class boxing, to the face and the body. Carwin was rocked several times, but his heart allowed him to stay in the fight. Carwin's face was bruised badly and cut up after the fight.
