My MMA Rankings
All Time Greatest MMA Knockouts
This probably one of the hardest out of all the ranks for me to fill.
-
1
- Jackson vs. Arona
- Quinton Jackson in round 1
- 2004 | Pride Critical Countdown 2004
-
One of the greatest KO's of all times! Jackson was a strong man back in those days.
-
2
- Diaz vs. Lawler
- Nick Diaz in round 2
- 2004 | UFC 47
-
I remember watching this fight and really liked both of these guys, couldn't make my mind up who to go for. I just knew someone was going to get ko'd and pow just like that Diaz caught Lawler. I've been a huge fan of Nick Diaz ever since.
-
3
- Goodridge vs. Herrera
- Gary Goodridge in round 1
- 1996 | UFC 8
-
This will always be one of the greatest KO's of all times. Goodridge made a huge statement in his first UFC match.
-
4
- Velasquez vs. dos Santos
- Junior dos Santos in round 1
- 2011 | UFC on FOX 1
-
Santos won his first UFC Title and giving Cain his 1st UFC loss.
-
5
- Hughes vs. Newton I
- Matt Hughes in round 2
- 2001 | UFC 34
-
How can you forget a KO like that! Had Newton on top of the cage and one of the hardest body slams I've ever seen. KO Newton and won the UFC Title.
-
6
- Silva vs. Weidman
- Chris Weidman in round 2
- 2013 | UFC 162
-
Silva got ****y and paid dearly for it, should of acted like a champion. It doesn't matter Weidman stuck with his game plan and KO Silva giving Silva his 1st loss in several years being the Champion. Good for you Weidman!
-
7
- Carter vs. Serra
- Shonie Carter in round 3
- 2001 | UFC 31
-
Spinning back fist! You just don't forget KO's like this.
-
8
- Henderson vs. Bisping
- Dan Henderson in round 2
- 2009 | UFC 100
-
The way Bisping was circling and moving, you knew Henderson was going to connect. He did just that and with an extra punch on the way down. What a statement!
-
9
- Smith vs. Sell
- Scott Smith in round 2
- 2006 | The Ultimate Fighter 4 Finale
-
Hands of Steele Smith looked to be hurt and done, but fooled everybody with a Hands of Steele punch knocking out Sells.
-
10
- Williams vs. Coleman
- Pete Williams in round 1
- 1998 | UFC 17
-
Williams was definitely the underdog in this battle. Williams got Coleman with a front kick KO that sent Coleman to the mat.
