“Last time my husband did a good deed and captured a loose chicken harassed by kids and had it fostered by a neighbor to free range in East Texas. Several people on here not even close to our chicken were all up in arms about it. My husband would hate to get shot for a chicken or get jailed. My husband says, listen for the rooster to look for ownership. Well, at least my husband managed to scare away the coyote eyeballing them in the forest this morning. You should refer to someone else about **** fighting. Also, my husband did not say anything about a big or mean person.

It's a sad state of affairs that it seems very few people care nowadays about our community.

My family and kids would have been there helping too but my family was working at the Highland Meadows Elementary Garden. Mowing, weeding and cutting tree branches to help the children's Educational garden from 9-1. We too only had 5 people VOLUNTEER & show up after advertising it. That was disappointing. Attending were the PTA President, my husband, 2 school teachers and Mrs. U. I worked for my husband in the ER so that he could provide some muscle. He was the only man from the community that showed up. I worked for my husband in the ER so that he may attend the meeting. 😓
