UFC on Versus Weigh Ins

When everyone is weighing in at 156, 136, 186, etc... it probably means the scale is off.  They should have a better way to do this with these small athletic commissions.

Duran and Page both weighed in at 137 on their first attempt, and looked back at Joe Rogan like "***, there's no way I'm 137"

Stripping down got them to 136, but still... this scale must be off.

how to they regulate these things, does the athletic commission bring in their own scales, or do they pick and choose from whats there? From the weigh ins ive seen, they are different, ive seen electric scales, the traditional scales that use at the hospital.

I think it's the local athletic commission that is responsible for everything.

But then Burt Watson - the UFC employee that you see at every event - is working with the fighters all week to monitor their weight.

14 of 22 fighters today weighed in 1 pound over (still within the 1 pound allowance).  That's a pretty big number and I bet a lot of those fighters thought they were a pound lower.

Tbh it didnt look like the woman knew how to do her job properly....

I am often surprised how much underwear weighs and they make weight when they strip down. Does my underwear weigh 1 pound?
