This fight is very close to 50/50 obviously and my pick for potential fight of the year for how close they are in skill and how entertaining the first fight was. It's a hard decision but I'm going to go with the minority pick on this site and pick Johnson. In my opinion, Johnson's the slightly better striker and McCall's the slightly better grappler. I'm projecting the great majority of the fight to be standing up and I don't see a good chance of anyone getting finished. So, Johnson by decision... for now at least.

i think McCall would be even more of a favorite to me if it was tough.

3 rounder with Sudden Victory, so that it is the same playing surface the Benavidez fight had. I get why it's not a 5 rounder because of it being a tourney format and needing the same rules as Benavidez had.

That being said, McCall's 3rd round may be getting too much action for my liking. I'm now definitely leaning Mighty Mouse. If I could choose one person to corner me for game-planning in any fight/rematch it'd be Matt Hume and that's who Demetrious has.

that end of the third round was the closest the fight got to having a finish, so yeah it will grab more atteintion.
but i gave him the first frame too. i think he just needs to watch the fight and realise he needs to take him down.

Correct me if I'm wrong but wasn't the "takedown" in the third that got McCall his advantage a Demetrious slip on a high kick attempt? I say correct me if I'm wrong because I know 100% this happened early in the third and can't remember at all if Demetrious got back up again, and then McCall took him down legit before mounting him.

Creepy should take this one. Johnson has great footwork and a whole hell of a lot of speed. If creepy ignores that and keeps grounding him he should take the nod.

McCall needs to do what he did at the end of the first fight, take Might Mouse down and punish him. I hope Uncle Creepy catches him on the chin and knocks him out, but I see another close fight. Wish this thing was 5 rounds.
