You might think you can just roll in and predict a Jon Fitch decision and a Chris Lytle destruction, and call it a day. But somewhere out there is a person sitting in a dark room studying grainy underground videos of all the preliminary card fighters, and who might just come up with a set of picks like this winning batch that IronMikeTheDream turned in for UFC 126:

Yankees chugging along at 68%. I was nearing 63% but then got crushed on Tachi Palace this weekend. Should have known better than to make picks on some of those fights.

damn @yankees didn't realize you came so close on 126. i'm so far from 68% - still fighting to keep myself above the 60% line.

I don't know if this is why you wish you had not made those picks Gregory, but I try to make it a point to not pick fights in which I haven't seen both fighters before. I got caught up in the Juicy Da Silva hype and made a silly pick. Sometimes the temptation of an "easy" W to add to my % is too much. Btw, when is that belt gonna turn brown Greg? Seems like you've been working with 4 stripes for a while now...

So how does this $500 UFC 127 contest work? I'm new to this site, I was referred by Keith "KO KID" Berry and so far love what I see! I already made my picks for UFC127, does that mean I'm in the contest? or is it something separate?

@wicked yeah that's basically it. picked a few of those fights based on name recognition, didn't do me any good. da silva reminded me of vitor ribeiro or andre galvao, coming in and desperately working for a takedown without much else to offer.

UFC 126 was kind of predictable, but it USUALLY always end up turning out how you think it shouldn't have!
UFC 126 was one of those night perfect for betting with your head, because most if not all, the fights went as they should, imo.

@team tanner i think that might be why I wasn't too impressed overall with 126...because the fights went pretty much how they were supposed to...I really like the cards that everything gets shaken up and the unexpected happens
