With Fedors most recent loss to antonio bigfoot silva. There was talk of retirement after his loss. Also Scott Coker talks of Fedor returning if one of the fighters gets hurt during the GP tournament. So my question to you is does he deserve it?

I dont know why people think fedor would move down to LHW. He would have to lose soooo much weight he would lose alot of his momentum and that would be really unhealthy dropping 60 some odd pounds.

@MikeAWhitney He would not be dropping 60 lbs. He weighs in at around 230. If he could lose some weight and cut that pudge, he would hardly have to cut to make 205.

Fedor fights around 230, so it wouldnt be necessary to lose that much weight.  He still won't ever do it though, regardless of how much weight he has to lose.  I mean, the guy has never had a BJJ class...he's going to be who he is, or not fight, I think he's made that very clear at this point.

yeah i was exaggerating on the weight. He just looked reallly out of shape in his last fight and yeah I agree but i wouldnt be suprised if they throw some fights in there that he can easily win to boost his ego.

I wouldn't give Fedor an automatic re-entry.  He lost, straight up.  That's a big slap in the face to SDR or any other alternate and could have even wider negative ramifications among the other SF talent.  I'm in favor of a consolation bracket though, makes sense to keep everyone active.

I was thinking about this what if they gave him a fight with the guy who loses in the finals? that would gain him credibilty if he wins and it wouldnt interfere.
