I think this is the right move by the UFC, Frankie deserved to get his rematch.

only thing i don't like about this is that if franky wins a close one we'd probably have to then give bendo a rematch to be fair and thus being 3 years of rematches staight for the lw division

i guess now i have all the more reason to  cheer bendo on

@puta Agreed, except for Vitor. I think he'll win, but I think there's going to be more feeling out this time. The other 2, I think finish quicker.

I just think that if you're gonna give Frankie something, you should give the champ something that he wants as well. Ben has clearly expressed interest in being on the Brazil card. Plus that's the first couple of weeks of June which is better than waiting until midsummer. I really can't see waiting to put this fight on for a long period of time. It makes no sense.

Not interested in the slightest. Henderson better win... Can you imagine the backup if Edgar vs. Henderson 3 happens.

Frankie wins via split-decision, BENSON - FRANKIE 3! AW YEAH!

I'd contemplate suicide if that were to happen.

I would be worried about Ben/Frankie 3, but I just can't see Ben losing. Therefore, I'm not worried, because I'm all but positive Ben will beat Frankie again.

Edgar does a great job in learning his opponents, so I think he might be able to pull it off in the rematch.  The first one was extremely close, and with as many rematches as Edgar was forced to fight in before, I think this one was fair for his benefit.

Glad to see that the right decision was made.  I think Henderson is a classy and talented champ, but I'm pulling for Edgar in the rematch.  Would love to see him dominate or pull off the unexpected TKO finish so some of you people would shove a damn foot in your mouth.

Can someone explain to me how he was forced to give Gray Maynard a rematch? After their 2nd fight Edgar was 0-1-1 against Maynard...The BS about Frankie being forced to give 2 rematches is a ******* joke!!!

He had to fight Maynard after a draw, and then was forced to fight BJ Penn after a victory.  So I guess technically he was only "forced" to fight a rematch once, with the other being totally logical.  Still, he has had two rematches, one of which was after he won his fight fair and square against the former champ.  How is that any different than Henderson?  Edgar's match with Penn was a hell of a lot more decisive than Henderson vs. Edgar I.

I actually think Edgar should get the rematch against Bendo...I feel its the right thing for the UFC to do by Frankie given the fact he gave BJ the rematch...I'm more disappointed about there's nothing now for Aldo...I just am tired of seeing frankie was "forced" to give 2 rematches when there was no way the UFC could move on after Edgar/Maynard 2 in the LW division

I can see your point, @soccerkick.  Poor wording on my part, but I think just based off of the Penn vs. Edgar I situation alone, Edgar has earned at least one chance to fight Henderson again and win his belt back.  That seems to happen a lot in combat sports anyway, when the champ lost his belt in a closely contested battle.
