Overeems Future

Lets say Overeem wins the Strikeforce Grand Prix and Strikeforce goes under and he signs with the UFC. What fight would be best for Alistar for his Debut?

The end of the GP is a long ways away. I think we should wait to see what happens before we start guessing if SF will fail or how Overeem would do in the UFC. 

You can have your opinion Bigi. Elk I think carwin would over power him. I believe Overeem needs to widen his arsenal.

I think I would give him a top 5 guy then a title fight ... like Shields (even though I don't think Shields earned a title shot with that win)

Yeah I agree with ya about shields not really earning that title shot. and yeah a top 5 would be the best or even lower. I would like to see him fight at LHW. He could possibly do some damage down there.

Overeem vs Mitrione would be a destruction. Mitrione wouldn't stand a chance. I think JDS could possibly win the fight against Overeem. The Reem might have better kickboxing technique, but JDS has a lot of power, and Overeem's chin is suspect, considering he did get KO'd a few times by LHW's. I'm not saying his striking hasn't improved, but eating horsemeat won't help your chin. That would be a great fight between two of the divisions top strikers.

@mino yeah I got what your saying about him fight JDS either way someones gotta go down. I am still wondering whats gonna go down between JDS and Lesnar on this season Ultimate Fighter rumor has it brocks looking at the  wwe again. which is BS!

@mike, yeah, Brock going back to the WWE could rob us of a lot of potentially awesome fights (say what you will about Lesnar, but he's never been in a boring fight). I think JDS should knock him out when they finally fight, apparently Dos Santos is getting his Nogueira black belt before the fight, and he has BIG power, I don't see Lesnar lasting long before dropped. And about that Overeem/JDS fight, absolutely no way it goes to a decision, lol. I don't think Overeem has been out of the first round since becoming Ubereem, or whatever. That guy goes hard.

hahaha ubereem. Yeah Lesnar has sooo much room to grow to become that champion he should be in my opinion. He just needs to learn how to take a punch him going back to the wwe would just make him look like a coward I dont think he would do that. I just hope when June comes around and he gets back in there he comes to fight. As for Overeem and JDS I think it would start out slow so they could feel out the range and then have at it. I just think JDS would possibly catch Overeem in a submission and end it. But hey we wont know until it comes around right? h

Brock will be a much better fighter, I think the UFC rushed his progression.. and I think that he needed more time to work on his game. Really I think he will be the champ again in the not too distant future. Just work on his boxing, and BJJ and he will go very very far.

Reem is underrated on the ground.
