Prediction: correct Stann   correct KO/TKO   correct Round 2

Tough fight to call. Santiago has the all around game to hang with anybody, but his chin is a big problem. Stann has proven he's got the power to put down really tough guys. I think Santiago is the more skilled fighter, but he's running into a bad style match up here with Stann. I predict a dirt nap of epic proportions.

I hate myself for this prediction, but I think Santiago's chin is too bad to stick with Stann. I think Jorge outstrikes him while it lasts, but sooner or later he'll probably get caught. I hope I'm wrong though.

I think that Stann is going to prove tonight that 185 is his home, and that he is a viable contender to challenge for the MW title.

Prediction: wrong Santiago   wrong Submission   wrong Round 2

Other than a somewhat flakey chin at times, Santiago is the more well rounded fighter with more experience.

@jono, I agree, but that chin will probably make all the difference in my opinion.

I was right about the who, how, but I was wrong about when, but I'm still happy for Brian Stann. He proved tonight that he deserves to start facing the top tier at 185. Maybe not Anderson Silva, but I would like to see him face off against Vitor Belfort, Alan Belcher, or Chael Sonnen. Let's see what the kid is really made of.

Lovin Stann as a middleweight right now.  Easily cracks into the top 10 with this win.
