Congrats Benson.
He was SO much bigger than Edgar... more of a size difference than I expected. Edgar was like a little kid throwing strikes against an adult.

Benson was SO much bigger than Edgar but he was getting tossed around, Frankie was landing WAY more on the feet and was getting the takedowns every round. I really believed it was going to be Edgar 49-46...POSSIBLY 48-47. What did Henderson really do? Ok he busted his eye, but that's on 1 punch/kick. Frankie outlanded him every single round.

I think he won fairly big. I seriously feel bad that Edgar's corner didn't give him more honest feedback. I seriously have no clue what fight Edgar's corner watched. I had Henderson winning every single round except maybe one of them.

Henderson almost choked him out. Henderson landed several shots that actually hurt Frankie. Frankie basically didn't do anything besides eat a ton of kicks and then stand there holding the kick (failing to take advantage) and then just landed a ton of small jabs. He only landed one strong shot. So honestly Henderson's big up-kick and his almost submission and shots that stunned Frankie a few times, and good kicks. Equals a win for Henderson. But obviously I understand everyone might not see it that way.

MMA scoring is pretty subjective. You could argue that quantity of strikes beats damaging strikes, or vice versa. Personally I believe Henderson won for sure because he did a lot more damage and was the aggressor.

"He only landed one strong shot"...Frankie actually beat Bendo in Power Strikes and Takedowns on Compustrike. And "He almost choked him out" No one ever gets out of Bendo's guillotines and Frankie did when it was fully locked in.

@swick Truthfully I feel the fact that Frankie got out is a testament to how good he is. However I still feel he lost the fight. We will have to agree to disagree in this instance. Please understand though that I do respect your opinion.
