Predictions: 2 of 4 Winners, 0 Perfect, 100 Points | Tied for 57th
Shin Haraguchi, TKO, R1
I’ve wanted to like batebolati ever since I saw his lfa debut but man, I sadly don’t think this kid has what it takes to compete on the world stage. He made his lfa debut against talundzic, who is a solid prospect. Batebolati got outclassed and gassed out, but not the worst loss in the world cuz Haris is decent & that was the first real opponent for Batebole. But then, the Leininger fight happened. Batebolati lost that fight clear as day, yet he got gifted the decisjon. Leininger is not that good so very concerning performance by Batebolati. The real nail in the coffin was hus last fight. Batebolati came out swinging and actually looked the best he has in his career. However, he kept a pace he couldn’t maintain and started to gas out in round 2. At this point, he became very hittable and ki dropped him badly. He again got very lucky as ki smashed the back of his head & he got a dq. I think the fluke streak ends here tho. Haraguchi is a very dominant wrestler. My only worry with haraguchi is that he’s really small for 155. However, he does help with his wrestling style & this kid can wrestle his ass off. Should be a beatdown
Zhawupasi vs. Lee
Daermisi Zhawupasi, SUB, R1
I don’t really know much about lee & I certainly didn’t learn much from his RTU debut since he fought the Indian jobber. I am familiar with Daermisi however. He comes from a wrestling background and it has translated well to mma. His wrestling looks super sharp and he appears to have good bjj as well. He also scored at the top of his class in the China PI so he clearly is a good athelte and very strong. I think him vs Shuya is gonna be a crazy grappling match, barring an upset here
Rong vs. Kim
Zhu Rong, TKO, R1
Kim just doesn’t do it for me. I think he is really basic and just not that good. He locked up a quick and easy sub in his RTU debut, but he also fought one of the worst guys in this entire event. His competition outside the ufc is bad as well. Fighting 0-0 guys and rice farmers from Vietnam. His fight vs park (who’s also on this card) was kinda close but uk lost it because he got outgrappled and outstruck. In that fight, his striking defense looked really bad and he was getting outwrestled pretty easily. Rong zhu is really talented but struggles to maintain consistency. He has some atrocious losses on his record but really they have came from him just not showing up at all. He has a big issue where he likes to taunt and screw around with his opponents, causing him to lose rounds, if not the fight (see vargas and Maia fights). However, that last performance of his was super impressive; by far the best he’s looked in his career. His striking was on point and he sniped his opponent. Barring some ******** by zhu, I think he takes this fight with relative ease
Xiao vs. Kamikubo
Shuya Kamikubo, DEC
I love kamikubo’s style. He reminds me of Michel prazeres; really undersized for the division but a very high level grappler. Shuya is a dwarf for the weight class and doesn’t have much striking to speak of. However, he pushes you against the cage and uses a mixture of cage wrestling and judo to get fights to the ground. When he does get it to the mat, he is super dominant. Uses his bjj to maintain position and stays busy with gnp. He is very good at locking up subs too. Long just shouldn’t be here. He lost a close fight on dwcs but really threw that away by taunting. Then, he wins a bad decision to advance in the tourney. In that fight, he really struggled with the grappling of nose. Shuya is 100x the grappler nose is so I think long is in some trouble. Much like Shuya last fight, he is also at a huge size disadvantage here. However, I think king is much worse than shuya’s last opponent
Park vs. Salkilld
Quillan Salkilld, TKO, R2
Good fight but also a weird choi e for a showcase bout. Both are really young (21 and 23 respectively) and both lost their debuts in embarrassing fashion, only to bounce back on nice winstreaks. Both have improved a lot since their debuts but there is still a lot of work to be done. Park is all about the jab. He uses it to set up his combos and has a ton of power. He also likes to wrestle a lot. Salkilld is a really tall lightweight striker. While park is boxing heavy, quellan is a kickboxer. Because of his size, he is easily able to send head kicks upstairs with ease. Quellan still needs to improve his wrestling mkre, but he has made strides in such a short span of time. His tdd still needs work but it is much better; he has a good sprawl and doesn’t accept bottom position. I think he better everywhere than park but wouldn’t be surprised by an upset. Both super raw; I doubt winner gets a contract unless they pull off some crazy ****. Well, even then it’s not guaranteed. They didn’t bring back Nueraji despite having one of the best showcases I’ve ever seen

Shin Haraguchi, TKO, R2
DQ can't even remember that... Haraguchi seems to be a wrestler who likes to finish though, could be one to watch. 5 ft 6 lightweight though
Rong vs. Kim
Zhu Rong, TKO, R1
23 and 23-5, fighting consistently as a pro since 16... Team Stun Gun that guy was a Korean legend... Rong is one of those tough as **** Chinese though just look at his details, and has finished a lot of people
Xiao vs. Kamikubo
Shuya Kamikubo, DEC
25 and 25-7... Saw some of Kamikubo's ONE fights he is a good grappler, this is a great win if he gets it, I know Chinese can have unique records etc, but yeah they usually always have great striking so maybe don't mess around too much
Park vs. Salkilld
Jae Hyun Park, DEC
Token Aussie? And a k.o win over Blake Donnelly? ****...... Gotta go Korean Zombie though and 6-1 at 21, time is on his side

Shin Haraguchi, TKO, R2
Haraguchi is an amazing wrestler one of the best in his year in Japan. He is ultra talented in his grappling, his striking is okay at best from what we have seen, but has yet to be tested in any real depth. His size however is a real concern, Shin is a FW and I would argue potentially not even a big FW. On the other hand, I think this can really play ti his advantage with his style of wrestling and allow him to put on fast pace with good cardio. But my perenial fear is him getting caught on the feet before he can implement his game plan or facing a competent much bigger grappler. Lucky for him Batebolti is okay not bad, but nothing special and has always under performed to me. I think Haraguchi puts on a wrestling clinic and gets the TKO in the 2nd round by GnP, probably not a sub as Rei on the episode before is way more accomplished in BJJ alongside wrestling.
Zhawupasi vs. Lee
Daermisi Zhawupasi, DEC
Another wrestler looking to put on a clinic. My issue is Lee hasnt really impressed or not impressed, he has rather remained a mystery in my expectations for him. My hunch is he remains durable enough to last through a decision although likely 30-27.
Rong vs. Kim
Zhu Rong, TKO, R1
Kim who fights nobodies vs Rong who may be inconsistent buy has some technique and KO power. i know what im going for.
Xiao vs. Kamikubo
Shuya Kamikubo, DEC
Kamikubo is rather inconsistent and middling but his experience should hold out. Yet again an undersized grappler with minimal striking but Xiao is just meh and honestly I think worse than his last opponent. Should get is done via decision. Although Shuya worries me much more than Haraguchi and Tsuruya
Park vs. Salkilld
Jae Hyun Park, TKO, R3
Honestly this is an either way fight. I rate both of them for how good they are in their current part of their early career. Both are very raw but massively improved from their first couple of fights. I think Quillan shwos a higher skill potential at the moment, but the jab and kickboxing of Park is just too much at the moment. A real test for both in the striking. The grappling is quite clear imho from what i have watched Quillan doesnt have much of a grappling base and if Park just lightly mixes it up early and then threatens it throughout the fight. I think Quillan will eventually break under the pressure and the peppering Jab and kicks of Park.

Imagine being Batebolati, making through after being nearly finished then missing weight by that much, laughable. Gotta feel for Won Bi Ki.

I am all over Shin Haraguchi at -600. He has a laudable knife hand block. Haraguchi must nationalize the crowd noise.
Rong vs. Kim
I desire Zhu Rong at -380. He has a ultimate spinning back fist. Rong will likely coach the previous pitfalls.
Zhawupasi vs. Lee
I elect Daermisi Zhawupasi at -325. He has an accurate osoto gari and a natural armpit slam. Zhawupasi is about to unsettle the unthinkable.
Xiao vs. Kamikubo
I crave Shuya Kamikubo at -300. He has an outrageous crucifix. Kamikubo won't orchestrate the enemy. Вот, где собака зарыта!
