So I know Dana White is saying that GSP hates Nick but is this an actual thing or is it just for publicity? If someone has some sort of tweet or something from GSP that says it then please link it but from what I have been hearing, which has only been DW talking, I think its more of a publicity move. GSP is an amazing fighter but has been getting some crap for not finishing guys. I think that maybe Dana is trying to make this be a publicity thing where the nice guy "unleashes the beast" or something along those lines. Anyone agree or am I crazy?

I think GSP feels insulted by his comments. I don't think that he really hates him.

I don't think GSP really hates anyone. He just doesn't seem the type. He was definitely insulted, but I just think "hate" is probably a little too harsh a term for what GSP feels towards Diaz. Also, yes, you can take nearly anything Dana says as a publicity stunt. Lol

Lol, GSP. I can't take what he says completely serious anymore. Every fight he always says.. "I'm the best Georges St. Pierre Ever"

"I am going to finish him"

Always the same story, and its GSP trying his darnest to hype a fight. I do believe, however, that Georges is really upset now. No ones ever called the Frog out like that, and no ones in the WW division has had the hype Diaz has.

The Diaz magic is already working on GSP, he is trying to comeback quicker than he should and if he doesn't control his emotions, he will get drawn into a fight that does not fit his style.

It really doesn't matter cause Carlos "The Natural Born Killer" Condit is gonna put Nick "The I Won't Fight a Wrestler" Diaz to sleep! ;)

Diaz-Condit is a fight that really intrigues me and is not easy to pick either way.  Both guys could finish in the first, BUT lets hope they go 5 rounds of blood and guts.

@lopati i agree and then condit gets his hand raised in a split decision.

I do find it interesting tho that GSP is openly saying that he wants Diaz to win the Fight.  I wonder if he thinks that he has a better chance to beat Diaz than Condit.

I think if Condit wins obviously he will fight GSP, but than regardless of the outcome of that fight, the next fight for GSP will have to be DIAZ.

when diaz wins he will need another fight b/c georges say he won't be ready till november. hopefully DW and the fertitta's decide to put this on the new years eve card depending on the date. diaz will need a tuneup fight. i say let him fight josh neer. exciting match that diaz should win pretty easily. plus neer kinda is on the map and people will recognize the name. plus neer would get to fight again b/c he puts on exciting fights. you could make that fight for the july  4th celebration and then he waits for gsp to heal. i just don't want the fight in canada.

Nick trash talking motivates him but I doubt he hates him. He knows that if he got into his head it would have been detrimental to his training and to his fight. It's not worth it and yes some may call GSP robotic but it works for him that way.

Actually, if GSP never said he hated Koscheck, then I have problems thinking he flatout hates Diaz.

Well if I had to guess, GSP was probably mad enough at Nick when he called him out @UFC 137 to use the word "hate" in the heat of the moment. Georges seemed quite embarrassed, when they put the cameras on him as it was happening.

Now that I think about it, the whole situation with the cameras being in place at that exact moment to catch GSP's reaction to "anything that might happen" was somewhat convenient.

no he dosent hate him but i think its GSP mental game plan to despise his opponent so much so that he feels he can really just punish him (wheather he can do it or not is another question)  GSP gets it in his mind and wate diaz is saying is adding the fuel to the fire but if and when they get in the cage and fight after its over whoever wins they will hug and respect each other and not hate each other so mostly a ploy to sell ppvs
