Undercard YouTube Livestream

Predictions: 10 of 12 Winners, 6 Perfect, 745 Points   |   1st Place

3 undercard fights on YouTube here.

I cannot find what 3 fights will be broadcast, I'm pretty certain Cuban Heavyweight Frank Sanchez will be featured
 I'm aslo thinking highly touted Mayweather prodigy Curmel Moton will be featured..
My best guess for the 3rd fight is either Oleksandr Gvodzyk or Gollaz Valenzuela, especially as both part of Camp Reynoso/Canelo.

Think it's start 8pm Vegas time, though I'm not 100%sure

Predictions: 10 of 12 Winners, 2 Perfect, 595 Points   |   Tied for 38th with 5 others

@Mikey1903
The three fights on the prelim YouTube stream are:

  • Frank Sanchez vs. Scott Alexander, 10 rounds, heavyweight
  • Oleksandr Gvozdyk vs. Isaac Rodrigues, 8 rounds, light heavyweight
  • Terrell Gausha vs. KeAndrae Leatherwood, 8 rounds, middleweight

*According to Sporting News and FIGHTMAG

Unfortunately, the Team Mayweather debutant, Curmel Moton, Justin Viloria, Bek Nurmaganbet vs. Abimbola Osundairo, Abilkhan Amankul and Gabriel Gollaz Valenzuela won't be televised. Only way to watch live is in-person.

Cheers for finding that out, I was looking earlier than and couldn't find anything official.

Yeah, it's pretty ****** that Showtime only show a few prelims. Surely nowadays with all the streaming options they could find somewhere to broadcast the entire prelims. Especially this 1 featuring some of the top prospects in all boxing. I really rate Bek Nurmagombet, future Champion potential. Of course the hottest young prospect is Moton but Justin Viloria is 1 to watch too!

Anyone picking Charlo?????

Predictions: 10 of 12 Winners, 6 Perfect, 745 Points   |   1st Place

I am seriously considering it, I already have a little 5er accumulator on Charlo Dec at 9/2(thats +450) with Barrios at 2/1(+200) and Lubin Ramos Not to go distance 2/5 (-140). Which comes to 22/1(+220)

Anyone else got any bets on Charlo? Is is everyone still confident in Canelo????

i am

Predictions: 6 of 8 Winners, 2 Perfect, 380 Points   |   341st Place

@Mikey1903
i got 2 bets this fight, Charlo moneyline at +350 and Canelo by decision as a backup hedge bet. The only way I lose is if Canelo stops Charlo which I don't see happening.

Canelo gassed against a 40 year GGG and couldnt stop Ryder in a 10 foot sized ring! a small ass ring! and now hes supposed to stop Charlo who I assume will employ Lateral movement and good foot speed?

Theres a bunch of question marks this fight :

Will the new weight affect charlo? Im hoping because hes tall and has a big frame that he can support the new weight well. If he isn't used to fighting at this new weight, it may affect his conditioning and movement but you also have to consider that Canelo himself also has stamina issues

What version of canelo are we going to get? If this is the daniel jacobs version of Canelo then Canelo beats Charlo hands down but I don't know if that version of Canelo exists anymore

Will they let PBC snatch a win here? We all know Canelo is already up 2 rounds before the fight even starts lol, Charlo will have to make a big statement tomorrow to garner points on the Judges cards

I heard charlo walks around 180lbs so him fighting at 168 means he didnt have to kill himself as much to make the weight, which means we should see a more energetic and full of life charlo HOPEFULLY for the bag lol

@FromTheFuture

You make some good points and I agree with some of them.
I think the result is more dependent on what Charlo shows up. Canelo has been fighting the same fight since Callum Smith, high guard, pressuring opponent to the ropes and throwing single power shots. I don't think he's washed /declining as much as many are making out but he is still old in fight years. Pro since 15, over 60 pro fights, with nearly all being Championship level since around 2010/11!!!! That's a lot of miles on the clock.
I think if Jermell can stay off the ropes (very important or it'll be Castano 1 all over again only against a bigger puncher!). He needs to be using lateral movement but also not afraid to exchange with Canelo, I believe Charlo is 1 of the sharpest  powerful counter punchers around, I think he can do damage. I highly doubt a KO because another of canelos great strength is that rock solid chin placed firmly on 1 of the thickest necks in boxing!!!!  I'd also like to see jermell take a page out of Bivols book and throw extended combinations when Canelo puts up the high guard and tries to rest.

Anyway, I could go on but I will shut up now.
Can't wait for this fight though!!!!!

Prediction Comments

Predictions: 7 of 12 Winners, 2 Perfect, 430 Points   |   Tied for 321st

Álvarez vs. Charlo
Canelo Álvarez, DEC
Charlo has shown himself to be one of the top fighters in the welterweight division, Alvarez is simply a step above. Charlo has yet to face an opponent of calibre on the same level as Canelo and likely wouldn't be able to match his speed and accuracy, despite his power. Canelo could potentially have some problems dealing with the speed and raw power of Charlo, but at the end of the day, his experience and skill would be the deciding factor and ultimately earn him a split decision victory.

Ugas vs. Barrios
Yordenis Ugas, DEC
Now this is a good fight. Both fighters are talented and well matched, but I have to say that Yordenis Ugas should be the winner. I really like Mario Barrios, but Ugas is tough and experienced. He could definitely use that to his advantage and I think he could overcome any potential rust. Overall, this is a tough fight to call, but I'm leaning towards Ugas winning by a close unanimous decision.

Advanced New Predictions

Predictions: 2 of 4 Winners, 1 Perfect, 125 Points   |   Tied for 429th

Ugas vs. Barrios
I crave Yordenis Ugas at -390. He has a macabre kneebar. Ugas must wobble the foe.

Álvarez vs. Charlo
I crave Canelo Álvarez at -350. He has a wondrous mounted elbow drop. Álvarez might sabotage the underdog.

Lubin vs. Ramos
I elect Jesus Ramos at -330. He has a creative side kick to the throat. Ramos is gonna undermine the adversary.

Garcia vs. Resendiz
I lean towards Elijah Garcia at -700. He has an ironic omoplata and a ruthless reverse side kick. Garcia must ignite the victory.

yea bro sometimes I don’t get the polls but for the most part tapology is pretty reliable. I have like 40 people I follow and if I don’t know something myself than I’ll do a poll with just those 40 people and they know their ****. So best advice is find people who are good and use them not all of tapology. Cause obviously the majority didn’t know this dudes mayweather next tank
