Rosas (5-0), who is just 17, signed Monday to fight Sept. 20 on Dana White’s Contender Series against fellow bantamweight Mando Gutierrez (7-1).
Should he earn a UFC contract, Rosas will become the youngest fighter in UFC history, shattering the previous record of 19 held by Chase Hooper, who also got his start in the UFC through the Contender Series.
Do yall agree with this? So how young is too young... 16...15..?
IMO I think 18 should be the age... but screw with those ears... he's had enough training!

What age do you think is the right age?
I mean I boxed at 8 years old… kids have been doing that for decades. Why is MMA any different?

wonder if we will ever see a youth mma league in the states.
my son kills at bjj and he boxes as well, hes only 9 but at 13.. I would let him do a match with another kid his age. would have to have special gloves and head gear probably.
