Why do you say that? Yet to watch tape but from what I know they seem very evenly matched

Also I feel Lawson would have lost his fight against Szaflarski. He got lucky with the fight cancellation. For an experienced wrestler his wrestling isn't very good.
Don't know much about his new opponent yet but the size difference looks significant. But could the speed and offensive takedowns make a difference, even though smaller? Questions to be answered

You have. I'd advise you to watch recent tape. I would say this is the 2nd lock of the card after Bleda. And it's at under dog odds.

Watch the fight. It was fast, easy and clean KO. Why shouldn't I bet on Petrino? He also smashed Antigulov. I don't see him losing
ok, we will see

Bellato vs. Petrino
Rodolfo Bellato, SUB, R2
I really like Bellato, his Jiu Jitsu is really high level for the light heavyweight division. Petrino is capable in this area but has nothing in Bellato. I know this is a rematch, but I think bellato will fight smarter this time and take the fight to the ground as soon as posible
Bonfim vs. Waters
Gabriel Bonfim, TKO, R1
I love Bonfim, he has everything to succeed, young, complete and hungry. I think he will be able to KO Waters as he once was the brazillian national boxing champion and Waters getting the fight on short notice will help too
Williams vs. Lawson
Jimmy Lawson, TKO, R2
I like Williams but I don´t know how well he will do on heavyweight. He usually tries his oponents to the ground but with Lawson who was a good college wrestler that probably won´t be the strategy. Lawson will probably look for the highlight reel KO but the smart thing to do would be taking him to the ground. I don´t trust Lawson to do that tho, so keep an eye on Williams odds
Bonfim vs. Abbasov
Ismael Bonfim, DEC
This will be an amazing striking matchup, Abbasov will try to overwhelm Bonfim with volume while the brazillian uses more technichal striking and picks his shots. At the end, I trust Bonfim´s high level boxing and great TDD to get him the win

I want petrino to win but Bellato is too good on the mat. My one worry is he doesn’t have a great chin but if it goes to the ground it’s over for vitor

I can't believe you Bellato **** boys convinced me to watch tape. The guys boxing is atrocious, I'm not remotely surprised he was KOed previously. Mans there to be hit all day, couldn't slip on black ice. Astonishing lack of reflexes on the feet. He crashes distance like a drunk hitting the bathroom door, like chin so far out it's amazing he's only been caught once. Can he do work on the mat? Sure. Nothing special, the level of competition he's faced makes it hard to read if black belt bjj or blue belt doing what you expect to white belt. I don't know anything about Petrinos bjj level but his coach is legit and I'd be surprised if he sends his student out here not knowing how to spot an impending triangle. To be fair they both come from good grappling camps and unless Bellato is some kind of bjj phenom he's probably going to struggle to get much grappling offense going and more than likely he'll walk himself into a big right hand within the first 2 minutes.

@daebak have u seen antigulov vs petrino tho? It wasn’t exactly what you would call an impressive performance. Petrino got hit a ton and a win over antigulov hardly carries the same weight it did 4 years ago. He got the ko win, but he was getting touched up himself. Also, who tf hasn’t starched antigulov at this point? His chin has been gone since 2018

While I agree , Bellato is not even close in skill wise as Antigulov. So him piecing up Petrino doesn't say much because Bellato has terrible stand up. He will try to force the takedown and be sat again. He looks like a juice head , tbh.

I mean yeah, but antigulovs standup isn’t very impressive either imo, especially considering you can chin him with one punch. Petrino was starting to gas bad in that fight too
