Thought about making this thread and received enough support to make it. So here it is. Any discussions on football whether fixtures, results, transfers, of field controversy and anything else can be discussed here. Either this thread will blow up since it is the most popular sport or the sport with the biggest ******* in the world on a website about combat sports will go about as well as Jose Mourinho's third season. 

To start the discussion who do you lot have in the FA cup final? I'm leaning Chelsea since they've snapped there poor form with a win against Leeds and Liverpool seem very fatigued with their congested fixture list

FIFARGENTINA receives World Cup gift.

Argentina and penalties...
One against Saudi Arabia, one against Poland, one against the Netherlands, one against Croatia and one against France: Argentina received five penalties this World Cup (a World Cup record). In any case, the arbitration has not made it difficult for Lionel Scaloni's team.

And for the nitwits here; Lionel Scaloni is the national coach of Argentina.

Cheeseball I am quite grumpy yes, you noticed that very well. And despite the fact that our queen is of Argentinian descent (a daughter of Zorreguieta), this does not make it any less painful.

In regards to the US, I wasn't even mad that we lost to the Dutch because no matter how good we played it was inevitable with the terrible managerial decisions we get from Berhalter.  The US has so much potential that won't go anywhere as long as he is still manager

Pelé is dead

Pelé, who was actually called Edson Arantes do Nascimento and according to many was the best footballer ever (except for Maradona and Cruijff), is dead. The Brazilian, who according to his own stories scored more than 1000 goals, became world champion in 1958, 1962 (he was mainly injured, but still) and 1970. Lionel Messi, for example, cannot repeat that. Pelé also managed to score off the field, having at least six children by three different women. He played almost all his life for the Brazilian Santos, and therefore never played for European clubs. After his active career, he was mainly an icon of FIFA (friendly association) and advertised erection pills. Pelé had been ill for some time and died at the age of 82.

He was easily the G.O.A.T in my opinion. Only player to win 3 World Cups, including with the 1970 Brazil squad which themselves could be argued to be the best national squad of all time. R.I.P.
