At press conference after UFC 274, Fana White seemed shocked at Anderson Silva‘a recent comment.

I would guess Dana White didn’t personally listen to the comments Anderson Silva made  and was told a summary. He challenged for the media present to recall negative things he has said about Anderson Silva.

First off, Silva recalled that Lorenzo Fertitita brought more of a family vibe to the UFC.

In the press conference after Silva vs. Hall, Dana White admitted this. (1:05)

White continues saying he has nothing but respect for Anderson Silva but that he felt bad letting him fight Hall. This is what made Anderson Silva was upset about. Telling a legend, not only for MMA but for the UFC, that he shouldn’t fight anymore is disrespectful. (In my opinion, Giving him a top contender and hard hitter like Hall is disrespectful on its own if you think he shouldn’t be fighting any more.)

White goes on to **** all over Hall, saying he has absolute zero output.

As of right now, Hall is second among active middleweights in Knockdowns.

9th in Knockdowns per 15 minutes.

7th in strikes landed.

His output might be low but it’s obvious by these numbers he is one of the most dangerous and efficient current middleweights in the UFC.

He doubled down and said Anderson Silva should never fight again. Coming from one of the top influential executives in combat sports like Dana White, that doesn’t look good for Silva trying to get a fight elsewhere.

“I will never let him fight again. He should so retire.” - direct quote when asked about Silva’s future in boxing or BJJ

In case we forgot, he beat 10-years younger former champion Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. and Knocked out Tito Ortiz in boxing. (In my opinion, I don’t think Silva would ever say this publicly but give the guy someone less dangerous than Hall and closer to his age. And if you do give him Hall don’t **** on both of them for the outcome everyone expected.)

When asked if another promotion would sign him Dana White said, “Unfortunately that’s true and disgusting another commission would let him fight again.” Again coming from one of the top influential executives in combat sports like Dana White, this publicly looks horrible for Silva trying to get a license. And regardless how much money you have paid someone for their services, I dont think that gives you the right to take money off someones plate  in the future.

Again I’m just pointing out the things Anderson Silva felt were disrespectful. And pointing out that Dana White lies and the media doesn’t push back.

On a side note he lied saying Adesanya didn’t want to fight Whittaker that we have since realized was a lie.

Another lie during this old press conference that has been revealed. Mike Perry said he wanted to fight Khamzat even back then. I thought NO ONE wanted to fight him.

Finally Anderson Silva’s beef is probably eight Hunter.
