Wow Gregor gillespie has been cut from the ufc. Did not see that one coming but I suppose that’s what happens when you turn down every fight you’re offered. Shame too because he was a very fun fighter and a dark horse for 155 imo

Sorry maybe not cut, but he’s been removed from the fan rankings pool which usually indicates a fighter has been cut. Could have been removed because of contract negotiations or taken off because of inactivity (although this seems unlikely because you have to be away for more than 2 years and he’s at least fought once in the past year)

Gregor posted on his ig confirming the “release” was due to inactivity. He said he accepted to fight RDA but apparently RDA turned it down. He also said he’s been offered fights against higher ranked guys but they have turned it down (I don’t really believe that but whatever). He called out dariush; I highly doubt beneil would take that but would certainly be interesting

he wrote a ******* letter talking about how he will only take fights against higher ranked guys, my god break out the Kleenex for him. someone on twitter wrote that he shouldn't have a problem getting fights now since almost everyone is ranked ahead of him, funny and true.
