Gaziev vs bigi is headlining March 2. I really don’t mind it as the headliner, more dissapointed that umar wont be fighting yet again. Ali and umar both said he got an opponent so I’m sure umar is injured; unless he’s fighting someone unranked again, then I can understand why he wouldn’t be

To be fair, this was supposed to be the Saudi card but got moved last minute. I agree though, they don’t give a **** about the headliners. It is bound to happen considering the next 3 ppvs though

UFC also stacked the PPV(298, 299 and 300), whilst also doing a card every week for 12 weeks straight, UFC kinda have to do Apex card because they’re stretch thin on talent

Literally all the PPv are almost perfect cards

yeah its really weird it’s to me it should just be who ever wins the tournament goes straight into the main bracket really pointless in making them go around again vs c grade level fighters

Johnny eblen says he is a free agent in 2025 and  “Definitely” plans to test this free agency. I’m sure the second he’s done with Bellator he will sing with ufc; he trains with all the big guys and constantly talks about fighting ufc guys. Would be an awesome signing cuz I think he could **** up a lot of guys there

Bekzat Almakhan takes on umar nurmagomedov march 2. Very dissapointing nobody would step up and fight umar. I think Bekzat is great but he isn’t ready for a step up like this; just a few months ago he was getting dropped by Brazilian journeyman

. This could be similar to the Arman Tsarukyan situation when he debuted against Islam. Bekzat already has a good record and nobody expects him to win but if he does well, it will only improve his stock going forward.

I don’t think this will be all that competitive. I’m very familiar with Bekzat and he’s just not ready for top 15, especially against a beast like umar

Igor da Silva vs Andre lima March 23rd. Really sucks to see two good prospects go up against one another but that will be a war. I’ve heard they both don’t like one another as well so that should make this even more fun
