Instead of spamming the boards everytime I see some cool news, I’ll post it here. I’ll also keep track of prospects I like, new signings to ufc/dwcs/Bellator/etc.

That is hilarious I cannot even put to words with getting banned how ****** that is PFL is becoming the biggest joke in combat sports.

The UFC now focuses on going to places where the red carpet is rolled out for them.  Places where they can make multi-event deals with certain guarantees and local governments and/or arena ownership offer financial incentives like covering various costs.

Sydney - "With an estimated collaboration value of $16 million, this highly anticipated event is set to captivate American fight enthusiasts."

Salt Lake City - "The Utah Sports Commission “paid an undisclosed sum in sponsorship fees to entice the UFC,” and Smith Entertainment Group “put the cherry on top by guarding against low-ticket-sales fears with Smith putting up some of his own money in a multi-seven figure gate guarantee”.

And so on.  Toyota Center in Houston has a multi-event deal too over x number of years.  Abu Dhabi is probably the best example, and there's probably more instances I'm not aware of or can't remember.

I think this is only going increase as the UFC and WWE are combined under TKO Group, and can offer cities/arenas "packaged deals" for UFC and WWE shows.  

And truthfully, this is much better business for the UFC than doing Apex shows.  However profitable Apex shows may be with its reduced production costs, it's an inferior option to like what SLC and other places are offering.

idk how legit this is but according to Moicano's YT, Turner has agreed to a fight with him at MSG. 

@The Giraffe  Singapore also has a deal with UFC to host at least one event per year in Kallang, I believe.

Mandy bohm has been cut from the ufc per roster watch. Thank god

It's a sad day in the world that Mandy Monster Bohm can no longer grace UFC fight cards.  She had plans on being a champion and becoming the new chief operations officer of UFC Germany.  She will be sorely missed.   Let us all take a moment of silence for our collective loss on Queen Bohm's greatness.

Edil Esengulov is out of his aca fight. Since he signed to paradigm maybe he is making a run at trying to get signed by the ufc??? He would be a really good pickup 

Edil is a little undersized at 170lbs but the cut to 155lbs was rough, in ACA or the UFC I think any significant success will be reliant on him willing to make 155lbs again. His style is one that requires a strength and size edge, he's a pretty dominant takedown and maul type guy. His striking is really bad, slow, awkward, not much power standing. Dudes super young and a stud though, Asylbek Rustambek, Daniyar Toychubek and Yryskeldi Duysheev are all some great talents coming up out of Kyrgyzstan. Seems like ACA and ONE have their fingers on the pulse for signing these guys.

Not 100% on this yet, but it seems Raimond Magomedaliev will now actually be fighting Mauricio Ruffy Week 10 of DWCS. Cant say where this leaves Rami Hamed, but seems he's likely out of DWCS. 

Where are you seeing that @AndersonGold? Would be a huge upgrade if true, Magomedaliev is a monster

Somewhat funny, but I posted on twitter that Ruffy will compete on DWCS and a Brazilian quote tweeted me saying that that is his hairdresser's brother, explaining a bit about him and saying that he is excited for him to fight, but he also said that he would fight a Russian, where we only have Raimond.

Oh wait @andersongold Hamed is also Russian. He reps Lebanon but he was born in Russia (check his birth name on tapology). This could mean Ruffy is fighting either guy
