@Jstl yeah thats the list the mma ecosystem provided and he is reliable when it comes to Asian mma. So it makes me think that Van will take another route. Which is fine because Flyweight has nothing but good fighters anyway.

I think feeding Dricus to Izzy at this stage of his career will be even worse than what we saw with Till vs Woodley. The guy has been scheduled for seven 5 x 5 min rounds in his career, he's been finished twice and he's also never made it past the 3rd round. Feels like right now the guy has to get lucky with some sort of a blitz inside the first ~10 mins or he's toast. Romero caught Izzy clean once and the entire fight changed because Izzy dictated it despite all the ********. I think Dricus should have like two main event fights vs anyone from Costa/Cannonier/Vettori. Give him that UFC main event experience first, let him have a taste of it, then see if he can be viable against Izzy. I understand where you're coming from with this match-up, but I'd personally just like to see it happen maybe a year down the road, just give the guy a little bit more experience.

The thing with ddp is he keeps winning. Regardless of wether he’s ready or not (imo I don’t think he will ever be championship caliber, even if he keeps winning) ddp has shown that he just knows how to win. I think rob vs Khamzat is likely what the ufc is heading in next, and all signs are pointing to poatan moving up. So that leaves ddp. Maybe he needs one more but I think he’s likely headed to the title shot next
