That would be such an amazing fight, though idk why Topuria would "duck" him. I've been saying it for a while, Topuria is 100% a future champ. I do think Allen would probably be the most difficult fight for him outside of Volk and maybe Holloway, because Allen's striking is better than his and his ground game is probably good enough to not get wrestle******, but I still think he beats him. It wouldn't be a Bryce Mitchell or Movsar level of ass whooping (he'd do the exact same thing he just did to Bryce to Movsar) but I reckon he'd still win a competitive fight

Watch the interview yourself on MMA Hour he is not excited to fight Arnold anyway im not saying he is scared, Arnold is a tough fight though for any 145er he has something good going.... Thats a fight I hadnt thought of but want to see more than alot of other fights now

Speaking of the mma hour, it seems we will not be getting Usman vs leon 3. Usman is having hand surgery (could’ve had it forever ago god knows why he waited until now). So, the ufc is looking at….. Jorge masvidal 😐 

They could literally do any other contender and it would make sense. Not that washed bum masvidal. Even a Khamzat title shot or belal 2 would make more sense. Hell you could even ask the winner of neal Shavkat if they want a shot too. That would make more sense than masvibum

I'd be pissed if they gave Masvidal the shot, the best thing I could hope to see out of that would be an easy/quick Leon win so he doesn't take much damage and stills gets paid from the name value, then Jorge retires. Usman would then probably be ready for the rematch

Yeah he doesn’t deserve the title shot at all. If he was mcgregor status then it would make sense but this ain’t 2019

I personally think Khamzat should get the title shot or at the very least there should be a title eliminator between Belal and Khamzat.

Masividal hasn't won a fight in over 3 years that wasn't in a steak house parking lot.

Edwards v. Belal seems like the best fight to make under the circumstances. Khamzat's commitment to making weigh  and staying focused for a main event is questionable at best. Belal has won eight of his last nine fights (the ninth being the Edwards no contest) and has wins over Demian Maia, Vicente Luque, and Wonderboy. He's also coming off an impressive KO victory against a top ten opponent, whereas Khamzat was essentially force-fed guys with horrible TDD to artificially boost his stock at 279. Plus there's no organic Edwards v. Chimaev beef, but there is organic beef between Edwards and Muhammad. 


Edits: Obviously there are good things about a Chimaev and Edwards fight, and it's a way better idea than Masvidal.

I just find it hilarious you could put quite literally anyone in the top 8 into a title shot and it would make more sense than masvidal🤣🤣

Yeah definitely. That's some 2019 matchmaking. He'd have to have McGregor level star power to really justify that move from a business perspective, and I don't think he does or ever did.
