Correct decision. Rounds 1 & 2 for Laureano, way more damaging strikes and Leonardo didn’t do anything with the takedowns while Laureano kept getting back up.

Round 1 was close but Damiani hurt pepi with a combo at the end of round one. That first round ws close but I thought that stanza at the end won him the round. The scorecards sucked anyways because he did not win that fight 30-27

I agree, whoever it went to it should’ve been 29-28 either way. Just thought it was Laureano’s fight due to all the shots he landed compared to Leo’s takedowns that he didn’t do much with. Close fight that could’ve went either way.

Yeah looking back at clips on Twitter it was definitely a very close fight. I (like the announcers) thought it was 1-1 going into the third and Damiani clearly won the third round
