I actually DVR'd this event just to watch Alistair, *** was Duffee thinking in taking this fight and whats up with him all of a sudden wearing wrestling shoes? Overeem's knee before the KO looked devastating!

I think duffee got paid 60k for this event. And thats a nice payday for 17 seconds of work. Duffee knew he was gonna get wrecked. Hell i will let overeem KO me for 60k, just make sure when i wake up in a hospital that i got my check next to me.

60K is good but does it screw his career?  Will he be able to recover from this and be taken seriously as a prospect from other promotions now.

I don't think his career is hurt from this, we're talking about a K-1 World Champion and arguably (in my opinion) a top 5 HW. The real question is how will to KO losses in a row like this affect his ability to perform. The KO loss to Mike Russow was much more embarrassing than this.
