As you might know I'm Tapology Boxing editor. I know the majority of you guys are here for MMA, so was I originally. But for the last year or 2 there is a little more interest in Boxing on the site.

@Cheese Bob Foster. Great fighter, should be talked about more. More of a slugger than a boxer. Fought both Ali and Frazier as a LHW. Finished 82% of his wins.

A good way to find under appreciated boxers/forgotten gems is to find an ATG or a hall of famer and look at who their main rival was because often that man has been totally forgotten about.

I find a lot of hidden gems in the boxrec titles section. Usually I'll scroll down find an old champ then click through their best wins and find even more interesting fighters.

I love using BoxRec to search for a generic name and seeing who comes up. You can find so many great fighters that way such as KO Andy who got knocked out by Jack Young in the first round of his debut and never fought again. Coincidentally, this is also the only recorded fight for Jack Young as well who we have to presume spent the remainder of his days bragging about his undefeated, 100% KO record!

I didn't even bother looking at the rest of the card lol! Now that I have, I must say that I'm very impressed that there is this much information available about a low level boxing card from 1932 so credit to BoxRec where it's due! This is the card for anyone interested. It's way more detailed than I'd expect given that it's from 90 years ago!

I wish Fury would just actually retire at this point. So sick of his constant flip floping/calling out fighters just to duck them/retiring and unretiring. It's not good fight promotion, anybody with a quarter of a brain can see exactly what he's doing. Doesn't make me wanna see him fight, just makes me want him to go away.
