The only genuinely elite talent they've signed this season so far is Albert Duraev - and the fact that he had to go through the Contender Series is absurd anyway. They're signing people that literally would barely make an LFA main card. All while passing on genuinely good fighters like Mo Miller because of the fact he wrestled. Hearing the red tomato **** Dana explaining why he passed up on him was pure cringe. He "isn't ready" ***** *** do you mean. The dude is a stud. He's not the most exciting, but who tf cares, I thought the whole point of this **** promotion was to showcase the best FIGHTERS? Clearly not.
It's gonna drive me nuts when the next batch of releases get announced and a bunch of actually talented fighters get let go simply because they're on more expensive contracts. Good fighters, for the most part, will be purged for these subpar Contender Series signings soon... all because they're on cheap contracts and willing to be underpaid. Sad.
But yes, Duraev is a good signing. The only elite signing of the season.
