With the latest video of Mayweather pretty much straight up tell Pacquiao to "sign the contract" and "stop duckin", it seems like the fight may actually happen on Cinco De Mayo. I wish we could just do a faux-tapology prediction for this fight just to see what the tapologists % is for Mayweather/Pacquiao.

I'd pick Mayweather by Unanimous Decision.

I'll update by posts...

Mayweather - 6 - 4 Dec, 1 KO

Pacquiao - 4 - 3 KO, 1 Dec

Mayweather is too good of a defensive boxer to get KO'd...He thought about standing and trading with Sugar Shane, but got clipped and went back to his ways of jabbing and dancing...Its not gonna be a great fight unless Manny can some how get Money to brawl

I wanna see this fight. Its hard to call honestly. If I had to make a pick I would say Pacman via LATE ko or DEC. But if I had to put money on that I wouldnt.

I'd be rooting for Pacquiao, but smart money is probably on Mayweather.  I doubt the fight will happen though.  Isn't the Olympic style drug testing still an issue?

Mayweather by decision. Both fighters have been saying sign the contract for awhile now so that recent video means nothing also in boxing there's so much ******** to make a fight it's impossible to prove which fighter is ducking.

Based on the JMM fights, I would have to go with Mayweather by UD, but I do think some people may be underestimating Pac. The thing is Mayweather has difficulty with 2 types of opponents. Aggressive guys with speed and southpaws. Pac is a fast, aggressive southpaw, so he might pose more problems for Mayweather than some fans may think based on the 3 JMM fights. Although, ultimately I would still favor Mayweather by a 116-112 UD.

@trevpicks
Have you seen the Hatton fight? There were several rounds that I believe Hatton to have won. The De La Hoya fight? Split Decision in that one. Personally, I thought De La Hoya won.

I did watch them both i felt he dominated easily in hatton fight and sd or draw against hoya doesn't mean he has difficulty with southpaws, He will have trouble against pacquiao because he is an awesome fighter period. I had so much hype for that de la hoya fight  can't wait for pacman now.

It has been a while since I've seen either fight, but you didn't think Hatton ever put Mayweather on the ropes and beat him up? Honestly, I was surprised Mayweather got the KO because up until the 8th, Hatton seemed pretty comfortable and tended to back Mayweather up a lot and get him on the ropes or in the corner. Also, I would contend the fact that Oscar was a southpaw did in fact have an impact. Mostly because the shoulder roll in the philly shell defense doesn't work nearly as well against a southpaw, because it tends to bypass the shoulder when the jab is thrown. I don't know, I just think the styles they each possess are the other's worst matchup. It's pretty well known at this point that Pac has trouble with counterpunchers, and I think Mayweather has shown he has more difficulty than normal trying to fight southpaws, or speedy aggressive guys.

Pac by decision. Mayweather knows he will lose thats why hes been avoiding the fight. I love the video where Mayweathers at a press conferences and says Pacquio Your next and then it cuts to a later interview and hes all i never said that lol I laugh every time i see it
