Alves returned to the Octagon after more than a year off to finish a hyped prospect in Mounir Lazzez (#44) via first-round TKO. He's 30 years old, 8 - 4 in the UFC.
Who should Warlley Alves fight next?
1. Tim Means - I could see the UFC making this fight between two established journeyman. They have the potential to put on a fun show, and a win for either man could mark a fight with a Top 15 opponent next.
2. Miguel Baeza - Caramel Thunder has some hype right now since he's undefeated. Alves vs Baeza is the perfect step up for Baeza to test him against a proven welterweight. An ideal fight.
3. Khaos Williams - After two stunning KO finished to start his UFC career, Khaos suffered his first defeat at the hands of Michel Pereira late in 2020. His come back fight could be against Alves, who has enough clout to warrant a matchup versus the popular Ox Fighter. And for Khaos, beating Warlley would establish him as a legit player in the welterweight division.
