Let me Start, I find it insane it like 4 days to Chrismas , Im suprise it so close to the end of the Year,  Fells like Junes.Anyone have anything cool plan for Chrissy, I’m probley just gonna mess around at the gym

I started watching MMA more frequentely during the pandemic as well. Been on Tapology since 2020 June/August, then created an account in october

The oandemic is what got me into mma. I loosely followed it since 2018 but the oandemic was when I became obsessed with the sport

Lockdowns were a ******** idea. The net result was economic devastation to small business community for no meaningful depreciation in cases. 'Two weeks to flatten the curve'. How'd that work out?

Whole thing was a ****show.

It really is the bane of my existence. Makes me look illiterate half the time lol

I knew MMA since Pudzian's first fight (2009), the following years l wasn't a fan but watched it from time to time, end of 2019 and the pandemic was what got me into it. At first I only followed KSW, then some fights of Polish  fighters in the UFC.

2020 I started watching full ksw and ufc events
2021 I sometimes added PFL or Bellator and smaller Polish events
This year already watched some random CHINESE event, multiple Bellator fights, every KSW event, most of the UFC. Some of these as well (mostly a single event) Fen, Babilon, Ares, Cage Warriors, Armia Fight Night, 2 boxing events, a couple of ONE fights, Glory kickboxing

I know its not that much, I'm just describing my path of leaving the casual phase

The only three UFC fighters I knew about in years 2015-2017 were Brock Lesnar, Conor McGregor and Ronda Rousey

In 2018/early 2019 I got to know about guys like Holloway, Silva, Aldo and Ortega. Conor - Khabib fight was so loud and popular that I've talked about it with colleagues from school on the fight week.

Was it jck fight nights? They’ve recently signed a deal with ufc fight pass and have been going crazy, holding an event every week. Now, it’s China regional scene so the fighters suck (most at least, some are solid) but it’s produced some absolutely insane highlights like the Chinese rendition of kongo vs Barry that happened yesterday

"Not that much" lol, thats a lot. I watch all UFC events, Bellator (occasionally), One (occasionally but this is also my favorite non UFC promotion), PFL (occasionally), and basically any major boxing event (as long as its not on at the same time as a UFC ppv). I might tune into a regional premotion if I have free time but I mostly stick to major premotions.

TLDR I could never watch as much MMA as Caposa, Fremen, or AyyLmaonnais.

Yes it was the JCK event. Thought I watched it last friday, but turns out it was before the Kattar Emmet event.

i watch a lot too.  In fact, i may have watched the most in total.  Been watching since 1996 and started getting other events on VHS or DVD since 1998. the old tournaments were really something to watch.

Damn, that's a lot of knowledge and experience. One of the reasons why Tapology is a good place is because we have people like you here, even if it's a small propotion of them

I also watch a lot because keeping track of prospects is fun and is a good hobby for me

@AyyLmaonnaise Have you watched Ewelina Wozniak's fight last Saturday at Ares? She is top 15 strawweight UFC caliber atleast, in my opinion

Just checked the fighter she lost to one fight before last one, that Brazilian girl is scheduled for dwcs
