Del Rosario has been a Muay Thai champion so he has great striking, he's shown that he can finish by submission, and has a nice chin.
I think I might be picking him to win through 2011... and I think he might be fighting one, if not two, of these guys in the HW Tournament before the year is out.

Johnson's striking just doesn't look very refined. He's a big puncher but overall I haven't been impressed with the technical aspect of his game especially defensively.

Johnson has the power, but Del Rosario has everything else. I see Del Rosario taking a decision or getting a submission.

Both are solid fighters, but i think shane del rosario is one of the best up and coming heavyweights in the sport right now. He should win this.

Shane's toughest fight for sure Lavar is tough I can see this being shane's first trip out of the first round

Lavar's got a ridiculous reach and great knockout power so it may be in Rosario's best interest to get this fight to the ground as soon as he possibly can.  I think Shane gets Lavar to the ground within the first minute of round one and has plenty of time to work for a submission.

Have you guys forgotten about Brandon Cash putting Del Rosario on his ass in their fight? I expect this fight to end up on the ground and Del Rosario to get a sub in the second. Del Rosario is going to get hit in this fight though, and he is going to have to hang tough and recover. It may end similar to the Cash fight, where he gets dropped and subs Johnson when he comes to the ground to finish him with GnP.
