Sorry but there's no way out of a challenge or at least not that I know of. I wouldn't worry too much about it as the fantasy games/challenges don't have any affect on your belt ranking or points so there's nothing to loose.
If you want to get out of the challenge because you don't like the other person anymore then you can either block that person, hide their posts or both. Blocking them will mean that they won't be able to comment on your wall and hiding their posts means that you won't see their comments. You can select these options in the settings part above their profile page (the same one you click to follow someone). This might work on the fantasy game/challenge comments but I'm not sure as I don't use the block or hide features on anyone.

I didn't know that. Hypothetically, if you were in a challenge with someone and then in the comments of the challenge they started giving you abuse, would the hide comments feature work then? Correct me if I'm wrong @Queen1717 but is that the problem you're having?

Stephen, I'm not sure, but I guess they won't be able to comment either, as that option is overridden.
I'll test it with you soon, block you, and then challenge you.
After that I will call you, m ,,,,,,,,,, r, b ,,,, rd, s ,,,,, d and other similar things,
It's a joke😅😅😅

Is the issue that people are putting harassing comments inside of the challenge message? Or is this just a theoretical concern.

I've never experienced it personally but from what I can make out, this might be @Queen1717's problem but I'm not 100% sure. I think you can report comments inside a challenge so I guess that's the answer if that is the problem.

Wanting out of a challenge on Tapology--a feature of a fantasy MMA prediction site to which no real stake applies--is probably the most pathetically neurotic thing I have seen in three years of participating on this forum.

Now that you're in the challenge with them, the best thing to do is just ignore what's happening in the challenge, don't check it to see who's winning and don't read the comments from it but if there is a harassing comment in it then click the little grey "report" button next to the person's profile picture to alert a moderator to the comment.
